Dexa -= body composition scan

Thank you for your replies! I had a Dexa scan done the other day and my resting metabolic rate is 1280. I’m currently 148.5 pounds and would like to loose 8 pounds. I’m 5ft6in. I average 300 calories exercise per day. I’m mostly at my desk for work. Is 1200 really too low for me?
