I will correct myself. Body builders are eating huge amounts of calories. If you stay at maintenance calories or a deficit, you won't get huge. More of the toned look you want.

Incorporate strength training with weights... and eat MORE. I made the same mistake of cutting my calories back too much, so I just became skinny fat. Still fluffy around the mid section.. I am very socially awkward, so I used alcohol as a way to loosen up. Became a big binge drinker, parties every weekend. I got fat and miserable. Finally decided I'm done with that life. Alcohol free since labor day.

Eat more protein throughout the day. I stay feeling full. Even a struggle to eat sometimes. Eating sugar and fried foods will just keep you wanting more and becomes addictive.

I feel you. I got in great shape back in 2013, then fell off, started binge eating and drinking. Stopped exercising. Then here recently, got tired of being a fat sack of crap, so I'm turning things around again. We can do this!
