I had a smoothie in my nutribullet with apple, carrot, apple pie flavoured protein powder and collagen. One cup of instant coffee with a little bit of skim milk and sugar. I think i will have oatmeal and protein powder tomorrow though

It's a huge amount of weight to try and lose in a month and will be a struggle to maintain it. I have found that I am more likely to keep the weight off in the long term if I aim for about half a kilo a week (one pound per week). Also I love exercising so really it depends on how you feel about it. Is it something that…

Highly recommend popsugar fitness on YouTube! So many different kinds of exercise and instructors

Lots of great tips in this thread! Both decaf and caffeinated coffee drinks are useful for curbing appetite, I try and make sure i use almond milk and sugarless sweetener though. Making sure that I have a good serving of protein with every meal is really important for me. I love hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, tuna and…

I did the Jeanette Jenkins 600 calorie workout on youtube...I've been doing it for months and I love it. This workout has completely transformed my body and I have so much lean muscle mass everywhere! Arms, stomach, butt, and legs all toned! I love it!

I lost 32 kilos (i think that's maybe 70 pounds) 11 years ago and have kept it off. I found the zigzag method incredibly useful!. One day I would have 1400 calories and the next 1800. I was really active and had an active job too so it was great to be able to have 1800 calories every second day, and handy to have that…

That sometimes you gain weight back, and you're flabbier than before and have lost lean muscle mass- decreasing your metabolism 😫 So now I'm losing weight again, but this time ensuring I am doing high intensity interval training almost every day (to build and maintain muscle), and ensuring I get plenty of protein every…

I'm sorry to hear of your struggles and I know it is really hard. Logging food is a really big help for me. Also, I've found that I feel like I am a bit of a food addict so with certain foods that I know I am going to overeat- I don't buy them at all. Snacky foods that have got lots of fat, sugar, salt I just know if I buy…

I did this Zumba for weight loss twice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG_Bs0QLc3I&t=235s and I absolutely loved it. I can mute the sound and play my own music over it. The gyms are shut here in Sydney and we're in a hard lockdown. Thank you delta strain of covid19 😭

Tim Tams are more popular here in Australia than Oreos. I love the double stuff ones, chocolate peanut butter and the peanut butter

I visualize myself stepping on the scales and not having lost weight, and ask myself if that food is worth that feeling of frustration? It's pretty much always a no....

Everybody on this thread who has shared photos: wow! You all look amazing and so healthy. Be proud of yourselves 👌

You don't need to cut out carbs to lose weight...I didn't.

Leslie Sansone has some great workouts on youtube. Low impact and easy to follow. This is a 20 minute one to get you started https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqaNUjTR70A I do two of her 30 minute workouts in a day sometimes, I always aim for about an hour of exercise.

Burn 500 calories with Jeanette Jenkins! Its a 45 minute workout on youtube. I love it!

Just for today, I will be comfortable in feeling my emotions and I won't stuff them down with food. I will repeat positive affirmations to myself: I am safe, it is safe to feel. My feelings are normal and acceptable.

Thank you PAPYRUS3! That's a wonderful quote too. It's true that everyone does go through hard times at some point. The world can be so cruel to people who have weight issues though and not everyone may realize the suffering that is happening behind the extra weight. That was another thing I realized once I lost the weight…

Not sure if this will help, but if you're eating regularly you could try making it a habit of drinking water with your meals and snacks. So two cups with breakfast, two cups with lunch and two cups with dinner. 1 cup with a morning snack and 1 cup with an afternoon snack...at the end of the day that adds up to 8 cups.

I'm a weirdo who loves drinking lots of water! I don't relate to people who forget to drink water at all. The downside is that I constantly need to pee!

You don't look too thin. Maybe they just think they're being complimentary and don't realize how much it bothers you.

I thought this was going to be a naughty forum game from the title of the thread!

Oh well such is life. You've made the decision to lose weight now and you can't change the past but you can change the future.

I'm sorry to hear that OP. Yes i have kept most of my weight off now for 9 years. I made the commitment to myself to spend either one hour of cycling on my bike or do 10 000 steps per day (which equates to an hour and a half of walking). I also regularly do weight training to build up lean muscle mass. This is why lots of…

I think it sounds like a great idea! Enjoy your diet break

Using an exercise bike does burn alot of calories I find. OP I'm sorry if its confusing for you. I recommend focusing on how your body feels though hunger wise too in terms of deciding calorie intake.
