Unfortunately, the majority of the world does not seem to what "normal" bmi/weight looks like in person anymore. I hope you don't give up on something you enjoy because of someone else's thoughts and opinions. Go, get the relaxation/exercise you want/ need.

I look forward to a walk or bike ride and get disappointed if something comes up and I can't make my planned work out. And I also tend to put the folded clothes away one item at a time instead of loading the laundry basket full and carrying all at one time.

Great job!!

I rode 8.8 miles today on a bike!! It was our 5th trip out since my husband and I decided to try biking together. The NSV was that when we got done I wasn't wiped out. The knees are a little achy now but I think we'll try 10 next time.

Way to go!!! Looks great!

Walmart.com is the cheapest I found. The come 20 to a box. I check once a month to not let myself get too far off track before I find out the issue.

I found a pair of shorts in my drawer and thought they were my husband's. I looked again and saw they were a pair of mine from last year, right about this time of year. Just to see, I set my newest pair of jeans on top of them. If you look closely, you'll see that there's 4 inches difference. I'm pretty happy with that.

I really like that it isn't so much the number but how you feel that determined your decision to stop losing. Very inspiring.

Congratulations!!! It can be done. June 2020 I had an A1c of 9.5. October 2020 it was 5.8. December 2020 it was 5.2. In the span between June and October, I also reduced my soaring liver values back to normal. Now I'm off all meds, blood pressure and prilosec and still in the mid 5s for A1c per my home tests monthly. I'll…

I'd be super excited to do either of those without ending up at the ER. LOL. Congratulations on doing both together!!!

The scale hasn't moved since the end of March. However I've dropped one size in two different brands of pants!!!

Good for you!! A break is very different than stopping. It's like taking a nap when you've had several busy/long days.
-
It's time!! You will visual the difference once you have some clothes that fit and others will notice too.

I do this too. 10 lbs at a time. It's not overwhelming but still significant.

I got on a bike and rode this weekend. And two weeks ago I paddleboarded. Neither were great distances but it's a start and I'm excited to go do both again.
-
Good for you!!!! That's a great accomplishment.

Very inspiring and a good reminder that we don't need to lose all of it in months. We didn't gain it in a year why should we lose it in a year?

Way to go@

This is so true.

Amazing!

Good for you!!!! Being active gives us confidence.

I understand. I initially lost weight to bring my liver values within normal ranges. Then my A1c was dropping so well I decided to stick with it. Now my A1c is good and I'm having to find my next goal. I'm about 5 lbs from being in normal range but that hasn't seemed to be quite important enough to me. So I'm switching to…

So agree with this. If I'm going to have a calorie rich food, it's going to my most favorite. Otherwise I just feel cheated. Lol

Today marks 1 year since my a1c was 9.5 and my liver values were through the roof. My a1c was 5.1 today and has been in normal range for 6 months, my liver values have been within normal for nine months, I've logged 355 days on Mfp and yesterday was my biggest step day since starting to use my fitbit at over 16000. (And…

My A1C was at 4.7. I've been off all meds since the middle of Dec 2020. Just tracking my carbs and exercising. Goal met and being maintained.
-
Very good and accurate list.

It does take alot of pounds before others start to notice and even when they do in today's world people don't know if they should say something and what to say. They don't want to offend you or hurt your feelings. MFP is a great source of support and motivation. I make it a daily stop. You've done a great job in losing 50…

This weekend our classic car club went for a cruise. We stop at a local public park to use restrooms and stretch our legs. It also allowed for outdoor, socially distanced conversations. One of our members who hadn't seen me since before I started losing weight came up and introduced himself and asked me who I was. When I…
