Prednisone certainly does cause weight gain, but if your only on it periodically it shouldn't be too much of an issue. So are you a vegetarian?, as you don't seem to be consuming very much protein, which helps with muscle building and stops the body from taking energy from the body's muscles, instead of burning the fat.…

I discovered a shortcut today. If you put your Fitbit in the dryer, you can get a head start on your steps. I had 3,800 steps in before I put on my pants! Lol.

Start slowly, don't cut your calories to the lowest level till your body adjusts. Also start slowly with the exercise. It takes a few weeks to get into a good rhythm, then your mind and body are on the same page. You can do it, just slow and steady.
