Really try to stay strict on yourself in the beginning...it’s hard and sucks but it really helps get past foodblocks (new word lol) and keep up with exercising! When I exercise it gives me more determination to be on point with my eating.

So my family based everything around food, if we were getting together you best believe there was going to be a ton of food, which resulted in a lot of family members being overweight. I had to avoid going to eat with them for a period of time until I got food in its proper place. I also did eat out of boredom, I removed…

Agree...I had to not let the first mess up of the day ruin the rest of it. I found exercise to help keep me accountable, the more I worked out the less I wanted to ruin my results with food.

I found fasting helped me get snacking under control. Maybe try eating meals with higher healthy fats (avocado). I tend to get really full off those types of foods but that’s what works for my body.

Doesn’t sound bad at all! Quick fixes never last...took a long time to change my relationship with food but now I have so much more control. My ups and downs also aren’t so dramatic anymore, they’re far easier to manage. Like everyone always says it’s a life change! Thank you, keep trekking and you’ll be just as successful!

Strict diet...low carb worked the best for me and honestly the biggest thing was just changing how I felt about food. Oh and lots of exercise 😁

Over the last 6 almost 7 years I’ve lost a total of 130lbs...was 150lbs down but I gained on and off. I have maintained for the most part but would like to lose an additional 10lbs now. With proper exercise I feel like it’ll put me at a healthy weight. Congrats on your lose, it definitely takes dedication!

I’m looking to lose another 10lbs and work on shaping my body. I have started logging my calorie intake again. I don’t eat a lot throughout the day but I’m guessing it’s probably more then I think.

Keto...my body responded great to high fat and protein. It also fixed some digestive problems for me. I also calorie count. 🤷🏻♀️

What kind of diet plan/way of eating do you stick too?

Hi! I’m in a similar situation, 32 mom of two boys and constantly busy. Food on the run is always challenging but for the times I’m in a pinch I’ve found places I can stop at with the healthiest options. More then happy to share!

So how do you add? And what are your goals?

Congrats on taking off on your weight loss journey. I had the procedure almost 7yrs ago and couldn’t be happier. I lost 150lbs and now I’m very active and live a healthy life style. I hope you get the same great results. I do always tell people after some time the surgery won’t prevent you from gaining again which I…
