There is so such a limited amount of quality "fast food" I try (not always with success) to target a chicken or turkey pita, subway wrap with lots of veggies (and its gross!) or a soup

You look strong bud. Good work.

Nicely done!

Congrats and thanks for sharing some of your tips for success and winning. Love the menu track before dining trick. Will try.

Way to go Ray! I bet he feels like a new man physically and mentally.

Amazing work! Do you do any fasting?

Great story, you are brave. Please start following The Holistic Psychologist on Instagram and talk to a Social Worker about some long term goals. This will help with the trauma recovery and release precious dopamine in your brain each day. Keep winning each hour, day, week and month. Those wins adds up. Sounds like you've…

. Stopped thinking I had to SUFFER in order to lose. Tracking calories and eating in a deficit is a learning curve and challenging sometimes, but discovering how to keep me full (enter volume eating), eating what I want and satiated, has made the process so much more sustainable. This point right here is great. Anyone can…

Always looking to add and be added.

Excellent work, have you thought about doing a 12-15 hour break from your last meal of day to your first? That tip has been a game changer for me.

Take a nice long break from alcohol, 40-60 days and watch how all other facets of life and health work so much easier. Then, if you to choose to drink again be very limited and disciplined. This is what is working for me and is the PRIMARY reason I am having success.

You did it before and now you will do it again! Looking forward to the 90th birthday update in 2031.

Love this! Goes to show anyone at any point in life can strive for a better version of themselves. Way to go.

Excellent work! I am so proud of you for recognizing you wanted to change and made that adjustment to get to where you are today. Bravo. I have a few questions. What were some of your keys to success, how often did you exercise, how often did you count calories and do you drink alcohol and if so how much now compared to…

Creating a thread about each win and loss should provoke some responses. I hope you get more traction with your ideas, I am sure they are interesting. I will add you as a friend, bounce ideas off me, I will reply. You got this!

Thank you very much! All the best for your lifestyle goals.

Thanks for your message. I have a few thoughts. Great you don't drink. Alcohol really is an Achilles heel for many, including myself. What a feeling to not have alcohol in the equation. I think enjoying carbs in a moderation is ok. I personally rarely hit MFP daily recommended amount of carbs, some days are close to zero.…

Thank you friend. This new way I am living is really helpful in so many aspects of my life. Work, family, friends, golf game lol, reading comprehension, happiness, productivity, I could go on. All areas are improved! The weight loss is a great achievement and I am proud. My energy levels and how I feel emotionally and…

This is me too! I used the tool in 2013-2014 and had success and felt I was ok winging it the past 5-6 years. Well I put on 50 lbs and felt awful lol Tracking calories and creating a calorie deficit is the best way to lose weight. I am here forever now. Welcome back!

FYI, I am on a friend adding frenzy right now lol I hope people don't think I'm a bot hahaha.

This thread is great. I would love to be on more people's friend list. Hearing the stories of success and effort makes my day and I love the positive energy. Anyone feel free to add me. Keep up the good work.

You have unlocked a super power you had all along. Control of Self. Way to go!

"My watch has ended" John Snow, leaving the Night's watch and breaking his oath. Truly inspiring for anyone trying to break old habits and systems and reinvent themselves. Anyone can walk away from their old life.

How many days a week do you drink? Have you thought about cutting out alcohol completely? Or reducing to less than once a week?
-
I am so proud you. You flipped the script and are a better version of yourself! You completed a successful science/personal experiment. Way to be resilient.

Thanks for your feedback and encouragement! I don't follow a true structured 3 meal, 1 snack routine. Every day is different based on these variables a) how long my fast was from the previous to current day b) what my exercise levels were c) where the eating opportunities are I do believe that white carbs foods should not…

I looked at my last month of food tracking and I am around 125-150 g of protein a day.
