  • Here is it!
  • I haven't posted here since February - Shame on me! All is fairly good in the Randel household. Bill is pretty much holding his own, but gets more frequent UTIs. Life is much easier now that we downsized and have no stairs. I can get Bill out and around, now and he has loved being able to be in church again!
  • And here's another one. Angela Ruth Strong's first book. FINDING LOVE IN SUN VALLEY, IDAHO. https://bto5v2.fg33.fdske.com/e/c/01jd9x38m19cp8v0yf1rdckn8c/01jd9x38m19cp8v0yf1w9tc68w
  • I tried it about half way up the ear, but not the top. I found a family tree on the ages series, but can't get it to attach through my phone. When I pick up my laptop, I will try to find it.
  • Here's a Chautona Havig book that's free today. I didn't have it, and it isn't in my listing, so I was excited. https://click.convertkit-mail.com/d0ug50w3zu0h43erpzumhzw9r444tl/9qhzhdup52l8o4a9/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYW1hem9uLmNvbS9Tbm93LUNyb3NzZWQtTGV0dGVycy1DaGF1dG9uYS1IYXZpZy1lYm9vay9kcC9CMDkySFdMUkdG She also has a…
  • Jennifer Youngblood has a freebie today, MY ITALIAN LOVE DISASTER. I haven't read it, but I have enjoyed several of her books. https://jenniferyoungblood.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=15335d67ccd97d80ac11c64a3&id=bad8ec07d3&e=aa7e7628e6
  • I'm still working through the anthology. Currently I'm on #8 - EMMA’S CHRISTMAS SURPRISE Linore Rose Burkard I wanted an audiobook for bed last night, so started OPENING HIS HOLIDAY HEART by Renee Ryan. I finished it this afternoon. I will probably start another tonight before bed. I like being able to set a sleep timer…

  • Deborah Raney's YESTERDAY'S EMBERS is free today. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LMMSEZC/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=
  • Thanks Kim - I had the Luana Ehrlich book, but got the cozy mysteries.
  • We have had a bit of an issue with Bill. I looked it up online and the possibilities were UTI (but we have been through that and it isn't at all how he usually presents), dehydration, and prostate (and he had prostate cancer several years ago). I was really concerned, but starting forcing him to drink more. This morning,…

  • Kim - She has #6 scheduled for November of 2025, too. This one (I think) has a brother and sister in it. I am currently reading the anthology: Finding Love At Christmas. I am on #4 LAST CHRISTMAS by Autumn Macarthur. The novellas average right around 100 pages. There are 12 of the novellas in the anthology. There are some…
  • I use bluetooth that go over one ear. The hook over the ear (kind of C shaped) but have a tab that goes into the ear, but not deeply. I also have a little one that just clips around the ear, but it hurts my ear. I might try it higher on the ear. I like it, but it hurts after about an hour. They had the Thanksgiving Dinner…

  • Kim - I got the book I THINK I WAS MURDERED through hoopla and usually all hooplas are the same. I'm surprised you didn't find it. I got the audiobook. ACROSS THE AGES was wonderful. I followed the characters through the story, but now I don't remember Ann Reed. I kept it at 5*, but there is a chance that I might move it…
  • Cindy - share pictures of Barcelona. Weren't you there about this time last year and there was a Christmas Market? I really enjoyed I THINK I WAS MURDERED! If you get a chance to read it, do! It actually deals with AI...a bunch of other stuff, and a little romance, too. I'm trying to decided if this is a 5* read or a WOW…
  • I was able to get ACROSS THE AGES in audio through Everand. It will be a little while before I get to it, but I'm looking forward to it. Current: I THINK I WAS MURDERED by Colleen Coble/Rick Acker. This is a very different premise. I am really enjoying it. Finished: THE SOLDIER’S BABY PROMISE by Gabrielle Meyer - LI…
  • Today was Bill's birthday. #87. He had such a good time at church this morning. I'm not quite sure how everyone knew his birthday, but the worship leader started the service singing Happy Birthday to him and he just beamed. The people just flocked around him after church. We were the last leaving the parking lot...people…

  • Bill's birthday is Sunday and then on Wednesday, we have friends that are coming by and bringing a birthday cake and ice-cream. I think I will just not bother trying to get down to business until after that. We aren't doing anything special for Thanksgiving, so cooking a Turkey breast and mashed potatoes and some veggies…
  • Carole - I think it would be something you would enjoy. I really want to go to Africa, now. Of course, they had a really posh trip. Finished the first 3 books from Jessie Gussman's newest series: Mistletoe Meadows Sweet Christmas SLEIGH BELL DREAMS ICYCLE DREAMS SUGARPLUM DREAMS There will be more, but these are the ones…
  • Thanks, Kim.
  • I have read all of the award winners except the YA and the Amplify. I haven't been crazy about other books by Vanessa Miller, so I think I will skip all of them. There are a couple of finalists that I still want to read, but haven't gotten to yet. I have the ebook and audiobook for Across The Ages on hold from Libby. I…
  • Bill's Nurse practitioner was here this morning and all was good. We are having a very quiet afternoon. It is an absolutely gorgeous day! Carole - I think there are a lot of those older systems that are better off being repaired. My garage door was due to be replaced next spring anyway, so I am going to be glad to go ahead…

  • I was so bad the last couple of days. I need to buckle down again.
  • Editing: This is definitely going to my "WOW" books of the year. Right now, I have 8 for 2024. Oh my, I am reading TEA WITH ELEPHANTS by Robin Jones Gunn. I am loving it. It's about 2 old friends that wanted to travel when younger, but life got in the way. One of the in-laws gifted one of the ladies a trip for 2 to Kenya.…
  • Thanks for your prayers. Bill is now off of the antibiotics and hasn't had an intestinal issue since yesterday. Thank goodness! I put a silicone bandage on his bottom yesterday and it has slid a bit since I adhered it. I'm hoping that it means that it isn't going to pull off skin. I was told before to leave them up to 7…

  • Thanks - looks like a cute book.
  • I am reading: A SECOND CHANCE CHRISTMAS KISS by Taylor Hart. It's pretty good Finished: A TRUTH REVEALED - Tracie Peterson. SHADOW OF FEAR - Susan Sleeman LETHAL DANGER - Jerusha Agen FROM A DISTANCE -Tamera Alexander. This was actually a re-read. It showed up in KU and I thought it was new. It has probably been 15 years…
  • Thanks for sharing about the Lord's Army. That is very appropriate and true. Cindy - I read through the article. I was told that the sore was absolutely not a bedsore, but I'm just not so sure anymore. I have been using a topical cream for bedsores, a zinc cream, and hydrogen peroxide to clean it. I haven't used bandages…

  • The reason that I went to the new format for my books is to be able to sort. I love that aspect, but I don't like that I can't paste the table into the format here. In my files, I can also sort by author, state, the month read, and the library/store that it came from. Hopefully when I do a full year of them, it will be…
