It's strange how just two or three degrees can make a difference! We'll be just at 63 or so today. It's nice out in the sunshine, I was surprised it wasn't warmer! Today will be a day of rest for me. I'm feeling a little bit nauseous (probably from the antibiotics) and very weak. I was able to walk (with my cane) over to…

I have Wellcare too. It had the best offers and yet was cheaper than all the rest. The Lord is touching with the pain. As long as I sit quietly I don't feel any pain. I was feeling quite a bit of pain earlier and was praying about it and the Lord just eased it away for me! God is so very good! I'm off to sit for awhile,…

I have been using the no-carb or lo-carb tortillas recently - they don't fill me up or 'bloat' me like bread does. I can't wait for the pain to lessen so I can get back out this summer and do some outside walking!

Love the picture! Put a smile on my face! Having a painful day so will rest quite a bit. I did get my meds yesterday evening and started them last night. Lord willing they will be what eases this pain! It may take a couple of weeks to see the effects, but I am hoping my body will respond more quickly! You are so right…

I am having quite a bit of pain today, could be because I had more than 1000 steps, just really affects my leg. I did finally get my antibiotics and started that last night. Lord willing they will start working quickly and they will be what stops or eases the pain.

😄 Hmm, I write replies to author news letters, I wonder if any of that ended up in a book. I did suggest a spelling change of a name for one book. It was a regency type book and the character's name was Alan, I suggested Allen, my BIL's spelling, and she liked that and put that instead! It's not as casual as Alan. I'm…

I don't like having to do a recipe card or add everything in separately, although right now I'm not tracking anything. I am working at getting less carbs though.

Thanks, Connie.

Oh no! I guess AI is not a benefit to y'all as they talk about it being! I'm so sorry and will pray for you. I don't have my new med yet, the doctor needs to change it to what Medicare will cover! But getting him together with my pharmacy isn't working so great right now! My pastor had a very good post yesterday. I will…

I wouldn't doubt that some of the stomach issues I have are affected by it. The Rheumatoid disorder, I believe, is also bi-lateral. I have inflammation in both hands, both hips, both SI joints, both knees. He said that the pain I am having in my leg is actually coming from where the two pelvis joints meet at the very…

I've seen those on Hoopla and read one of them years ago, but haven't been able to get back into the series. I really liked the one I did read. I'm still working on the same books. I did download a book I read back in May that I really liked and will start re-reading it when I get done with something else. One of the…

I wish that I could do that few calories! I actually do breakfast at about those calories eating an Aussie Bite and having my coffee with creamer for breakfast (the coffee actually lasts most of the day). Occasionally if I have breakfast very early I will have a homemade biscuit (plain) three hours after breakfast. Lunch…

MATTERS OF THE HEART is free:

Love those free and really cheap ones!

I was able to get the first Jamie Ogle story through Hoopla, and the Joktan story has been on my Hoopla Wish list! I gave up on a fantasy where the heroine was very immature and I couldn't take it so I quit. I am also continuing to read the missionary story about the three generations who were missionaries. Not very well…

Wow, welcome to our world of government school graduates! Unbelievable. He probably couldn't read the sign, or never looked at it, just dumped your stuff and ran! Way sad. I saw my orthopedics doctor today and he did have some answers. Apparently those positives did mean that I do have Lyme disease, or subacute Lyme…

So glad y'all made it through the storms fine. Ours came through last night, wind, lightening and lots of rain. Our front yard had its pond in it this morning, although the neighbor across the street wasn't nearly as flooded as he normally gets. Praise the Lord, we were able to sleep through most of it. Thanks for the…

A 6 book series by D I Telbat: Wow, I had three of those books, Connie, and snatched up the first one! Thanks.

You are on your way to losing that extra weight - so many good choices. I got a funny picture of you with your head in the freezer and your feet kicking to get you out! That's what I have to do to get to the bottom of the washing machine, balance on the edge and dive in! Wade does most of it lately so that hasn't been a…

I know, my palms got sweaty spending so much! I love those deals. I won a $20 gift card from one of my fantasy authors, now to figure out what I want to spend it on! 🙄

Looks like you did lose some of that weight - yeehaw! Oops on the BP but the BS looks great! shimmy shimmy happy dance! I'm at 240, back and forth between 240 and 239. Just not enough activity to make a difference. I try to get extra steps, but it is so painful to walk - I just want to sit in one position where there isn't…

Oh yeah, a 13 year old is going to be honest about his/her age! I guess if you have to have a library card to get the book you can add the age of the recipient to the card and if it's less than what it should be the book would be rejected. So sad that we've degenerated so far. I hope that you are safe and sound Connie! And…

Oh, Marilyn, I'm sorry to hear that your weight is up. Maybe you shocked your body enough that losing it will be easy this time! Praying for each of your physical issues! Bren, I cut up my apple into bite size or smaller pieces then add the yogurt (vanilla) and then sprinkle on some home made granola. I'm down to my last…

Two book Amish love stories, for $.50:

Yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't promised, today is all we have, so live it with all you've got for Jesus! You've done it before and you can do it again! I think that a good bit of that may be water because you jumped up there really fast - so drink, baby, drink! Also work on less simple carbs and more complex carbs…

Hoopla has available books and books you can put on hold, flex books - but you can get 20 of those books and each time you return one you get that number back. I get 7 available's a month. I put "Christian" in the search box and several things came up. On the left it asks "Borrow Type" and I clicked "flex" and several of…

Awesome. The first couple I put in just did it on their own! I had Cindy's and got Connie's. I have a couple of new ones: $.99 three book set:

I think I'd rather have the mac and cheese, meatballs and broccoli! The Salisbury steak was very good, but most of the sauce disappeared. The flavor was there though. I was able to go with Wade for his follow up with one of his doctors and then we walked around Ollie's and ate at one of our favorite places, Carolina Grill.…

I finished two books last night - FALL OF THE FORGOTTEN PHOENIX a fantasy, and another fantasy re-listen to from Hoopla THE UNSEELIE'S WALLFLOWER, just an easy read although it is suspenseful. I'm working on the miss bio about the three generations of missionaries. It's more of a bullet point presentation. This happened on…
