Easy for me is 8 oz pre-cooked = ~6 oz post cooked weight lean protein + 8 - 10 oz non starchy vegetables. For Example: Pick one: Baked Skinless Chicken Breast or thighs (add Lemon Pepper or EBB or Garlic Salt or some other seasoning prior to baking) Air Fried Pork Loin Chop 95/5 Ground Beef Burger (add a Laughing Cow Lite…

Try looking for Rice Bowls. They're pretty and smaller that a standard bowl that you'd get with a dish set.

Way to go!!!

Down 102 lbs in 2022. :)

I love this!!! So creative.

I'm in the 140's and on the glide path to my goal weight. I won't make it by the new year, but I'll make it by February. :)

Problems you thought were due to weight, are not all due to weight. Years ago, I gained some weight, my knee started hurting, figured that it was due to excess weight. Then I continued to gain weight, still knee pain, still assumed that it was due to weight. I've lost nearly 100 lbs, weigh less than when it originally…

For the first time in my life (I think, I don't really remember childhood), I needed leave a dressing room to get a smaller size because the ones I brought in with me were too big.

Congrats on your success!!!
-
Way to go!!! That's an awesome accomplishment and that kind of accountability is going to help you keep the weight off too.

My next mini goal is to break into the 140s. I'll be so close to my goal weight at that point.

Congrats!!

I'm in an 8! It's a bit snug, but not bad.

It depends on what size you're starting from. If you look at clothing size charts, plus sizes have a 2-2.5 inch size difference between sizes. Then the larger regular sizes have 1.5 inches and smaller regular sizes drop to an inch between sizes. So if like me, you started at plus size, my first size drop took over 20 lbs.…

Unfortunately we can't decide where fat opts to depart from first. You might be losing weight all over and therefore it's not as noticeable looking in the mirror. The fact that your clothes are fitting differently proves that you are absolutely getting smaller. I know it's cliche, and I didn't do it in any of my previous…

I used to take ibuprofin almost daily for joint pain. The last time I took any was several weeks ago and I don't remember the time before that.

Dude me too! LOL!

You can do it! You've come so far, you can take it to the next level!

That if you've got a lot of weight to lose, that as you get closer to goal the numbers on the scale will start to seem surreal, especially if you haven't seen them in a long time. Mentally I'm still trying to break 200, the scale says that I'm 35 lbs below that. It's a real mind f some days.

I absolutely love this for you. Your husband sounds like an awesome partner in life. Congrats on needing new clothes and passing on the ones that no longer fit who you are.

My next mini goal is to get into a size 8 jeans. I'm in a 10. I'd like to be in an 8 and am hoping to get there by Thanksgiving.

I'm overweight!

Great job!

I crossed my legs at the knees for the first time in about a decade!

13 boxes gone forever! I'm going to have to do another donation from my closet once I hit my healthy weight, but at least that's only going to be a few boxes.
-
I don't know if it's non-scale or not either, but that's great news! Way to go and best of luck in the Fall 5% Challenge!

My next mini goal is to reach Overweight. I'm 6.8 lbs away.

My own husband didn't recognize me from behind! I was getting some steps in during lunch and the hubster was coming home from work and was wondering who was walking down the street. He didn't recognize that it was me until he got close and recognized my stride and realized that it was me. So of course he pulled up along…

We have a Purple Heart Society pickup scheduled for the 27th. We're cleaning out all closets this weekend. I've already got 5 boxes packed and at least 5 more to go. I can't wait to have all of that space back.
