Today I weighed in at 149.4. Made my goal of losing 15 lbs by my birthday...so original mini goal met. However in the meantime I learned that I have shrunk 1.5 inches in height...therefore I need to lose a little more to reach my healthy BMI of under 25. That's okay. I have confidence that I'll make it, just not by my 70th birthday. So I'm making that my next mini goal. I need to be under 143.5 reach that healthy BMI. I hope to be there by Thanksgiving.
Today I weighed in at 143.0. I have finally reached a healthy BMI of 24.9. Missed the Thanksgiving goal by a week but that's okay.
My new mini-goal is to reach 140 lbs. This is significant to me because it means I will have lost 100 lbs, down from 240 on Aug 1, 2021. Hope to be there by January 1, 2023.9 -

I am now weighing in the overweight range after previously being obese. My next goal is to get my trend weight down into the overweight range and then I know I will have officially arrived.5

@Fit2btied2016 Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. It's so important to remember to Never Give Up! Sometimes weight loss will stall or go up for a while but persevering will get you to your goal. Congrats to you on reaching a 12 year low!2

I had 160 lbs to lose. That's too big a number for me to grasp, so I divided it into three 50 lb blocks, and one 10 lb. I Just hit -40 today, since mid June. Next mini-goal, -50 and first block down!17

For the first month, my weight remained constant. I thought, ok, I'll continue to count calories and eat healthy for one year, let's see who wins, me or the scale. Then I ran out of sugar. And without sugar (I eat plenty of natural sugar from fruits and vegetables), the scales moved swiftly, and calorie deficit increased. In the last two weeks, I've lost 5% of my overall wight. Now aiming for the next 5% weight loss.10

My mini goal is to stop overeating. Adding daily more veggies, fruit and fresh air.

My mini goal is getting out of the 180's permanently. Right now I keep fluctuating between 179 and 180. But I know from being on MFP before, this is normal and it will change.6

My mini goal is to go from being a smidge over 200lbs (and around 20% body fat) to under it by the end of this calendar year and to keep it off - permanently. Considering that 9 weeks ago I was at 235lbs and approximately 30% body fat, I’ve already come a long way.
End goal is to get to between 176-187 lbs and maintain it there while also getting my body fat down to around 15%.4 -
I am now in the overweight category instead of obese! My next mini goal is to maintain over the holidays and then lose 5 pounds over January and February and March to bring me to 153lbs. I'm losing slowly but I'm not gaining the weight back so it's working well for me. My ultimate goal is to be 130lbs. I'll get there in due time.10

Took a little longer than I hoped.. but weighed in at 128.5 this morning 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Setting my next goal at 122 by end of January. I plan to maintain over Christmas and new years. Reaching 122 would be 45 lbs lost 😳9 -
Super fear of type II diabetes. I found this article very interesting: https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/985558?src=WNL_mdpls_221216_mscpedit_nurs&uac=157839PX&spon=24&impID=4993557 Going to start intermittent fasting to avoid it.
