There are so many environmental risks for babies nowadays. I’d say have the attitude that you are providing the best nutrition to the person growing inside you that will affect them the rest of their life. You can and will recover from pregnancy. Focus on baby’s health and you both will be healthier. Do t get too stressed…

So would you say there’s a Brooks model helpful for a heavyweight with supination? I think most of my shoes are worn on the outside heel and up the outer side. I trained myself to run barefoot 🦶🏻 at those touch points as a kid. 🤷🏻♀️

Giving this a comment to spur activity. 2024 has been challenging.

I wish you the best in rediscovering yourself post trauma. Been there, done that. Think of this journey as the necessary CLEANSING you need. I had to take Xanax for two years when my boss’s behavior mimicked my abusive ex’s, then I got therapy and learned more about his behavior - and it makes me laugh now. I love my…

Hi. I feel this is too personal… so dismiss it if so. You look phenomenal and healthy. That’s so awesome. My question is “Did you have surgery for skin removal or did you just naturally bounce back?”

I agree with this. I have Autoimmune disease and I had 100% success with AIP Paleo diet. I was in remission for over three years and no meds! The inflammatory foods wreck havoc on our bodies. I’m back on meds now after a “bagel flare up” kicked my butt. But now I’m rolling like thunder in the gym and going the best I can.…

@AnnPT77 thanks Ann! I did really well except for some middle of the night screaming leg cramps Wednesday night. I skipped the gym and stayed home Thursday and Friday- went to the gym Saturday and beat 6 personal best records, dumbbell weight and resistance machines, and leg press stacked weights. I also worked on my plank…

Só as far as restrictions go, when I’m in the strict restrictions aka elimination phase which I did for three years- no dairy, eggs, grains, gluten, soy, beans/legumes, sugar, nightshade plants, nuts/seeds, alcohol, processed veg oils, food chemicals and additives, refined and processed foods

I have organic greens, fish, halal meats (no pork), halal fowl, halal beef and goat offal, broccoli and other veg, no nightshade, Tigernut flour, olive and coconut oils, sometimes fruit - that’s a basic list. I use coconut milk and coconut cream.

I’m going back on AIP paleo

I started medication and stopped AIP Paleo. I’m going back on soon so I can reduce inflammation.

Thanks all, for your supportive comments!! I’m really impressed at how those of you who work through the injuries and find ways to adjust and modify! I let the injury heal and got a different trainer and I’ve been doing GREAT! I’m losing weight slowly and gaining muscle slowly. Man I feel it today (Wednesday) after a two…

I’m looking forward to making fitness a habit once again, or as many times as I need to reconnect. It feels heavy to set my goal to go to the gym every day or to add it to my mornings. Has anyone had a struggle like this?

Hi! Are you welcome to ideas shared in a group? I’d like to meet others who may be starting the journey and have “guest pro’s” answer and inspire!

@DeniseNichole76 Hi, my name is Jennifer, nice to meet you here. welcome back! (Delayed response) I have been dabbling in MFP and diagnosed in 2017(?) with Graves/Hyperthyroidism. I had successfully been in remission for three years using my AIP Paleo defense. I had one too many bagel week binges and it came back hard.…

@charlotte3679 let me know if you’ve heard please as I’m a grave’s disease warrior and battle with my AIP Paleo plan.

Assalaamu alaikom! I wonder how you are doing now, so many years later? I’d like to help rejuvenate the Muslima groups on MyFitnessPal because some people have better accountability and success when sisters are involved by Allah and His Mercy and Greatness. Is anyone active on MFP??

I joined MFP years ago but it sat...as did I. No more time for sitting. I am codependent when it comes to fitness so I'll be trying to break free of that mindset.
