  • Good thing this isn't a 12 Step Program. If this sends anyone running for the nearest Dairy Queen I'm sorry. I do however, think that the ability to be honest about the way things were or have been or might still be in contrast to the changes people are making is useful as a wake up call or a reminder of progress made.

  • Awesome you are getting results and feeling better. Something that helps me, especially with holidays around the corner is to keep in mind that I won't be done here once I hit the goal. I will just be adjusting the knobs to the maintenance level so I don't have to start over again.
  • I am not a diabetic. I did have a slightly high A1C reading a few years ago that made me reevaluate some stuff. A coworker of mine was diagnosed a couple years ago and I've watched him find his way. You can do it.
  • It's a fine goal. I'd recommend seeing what each week brings and reevaluating about once a month. I've found that some weeks are better and others aren't so much. The main thing is to stay with it. I call a week a success as long as no weight was gained and a major success if weight was lost. It's a neverending war. Win…
  • Thanks for the reply. The food tracking on here is great. I'd definitely recommend that. I eat RX bars for breakfast (I like the chocolate sea salt ones 210 calories) and Fresh Express salads (Southwest style 300 calories) for lunch.
