Eatmeguiltfree brownies, and quest peanut butter cookies. I gotta stop my shenanigans 🤤🤤😭

I wouldn't even log em at 300. I guesstimate them to be around 150 kcals, but I'm weary of over counting calorie burn.

"I understand a week isnt long," That's 100% of this. Don't freak out because the scale doesn't move for a week or two. It is never going to be fully linear. If you're eating at a deficit and being active, the weight will come off in time, but it is never going to be like clock work. Think in terms of months and years, not…

Thanks. That is about what I would expect considering the macros on it I guess. Hoping I can just quell my craving with lousy low cal brownies. Fingers crossed. Summer is right around the corner.

Out of curiosity does anyone have any experience with "thinslim foods" particularly their ultra low calorie brownies? Wicked expensive, but I just placed an order.
-
I think that's a west coast thing.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who gets the fried fish craving. I do about the same, it's not a big deal b/c I can just have it a couple times and the craving goes away. Brownies not so much, it's like one of those cartoons where the little snowball rolling down the hill turns into a snow boulder.

I mean, that's good advice, but I have some issues with it: If I eat a brownie (or at least a regular brownie), I have two choices: Go over my calorie goal, or go under my protein goal. Neither of which make me mentally excited. As for substitutes.... nothing really substitutes brownies for me, and as soon as I bite into…

"This idea of 'a calorie in and a calorie out' when it comes to weight loss is not only antiquated, it's just wrong," says Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford, an obesity specialist and assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/stop-counting-calories ---…

Very long time ago, (decades), there was a place near me called hungry howies. They used to do fruit sauces and fruit toppings. I think I was too young to remember if I liked their pizza or not, but this is definitely a thing. People don't realize that even though tomato is treated like a vegetable, it's actually a fruit.…
-
Not only does pineapple go on pizza, OTHER fruit can go on pizza too (notably strawberries, peaches, blueberries). AAAAND to top that off, tomato sauce can be swapped out for sauce made from other fruits. The trick here is that mozzerella cheese and fruit pair very well together. Man kind still has a lot of exploration to…

Ahhh, a topic I have a lot of experience in. I don't want a follow up, but I'll tell you my anecdotal story. In my 30s I was putting on weight and pushing around 315lbs when I developed gout for the first time. It was horrific, at first no one knew what it was despite multiple trips to doctors and the ER. Eventually when…

My only issue with the newsfeed is that it gets cluttery if you have friends, and isn't really suited to long form writing and imagery. Maybe I'll look at some of the free blog services. As a bonus it can be unconnected to my other accounts for some degree of anonymity.

Quest nutrition has this new thing called "Fudgey brownie bites" (or bars). They have some protein in them, but I wouldn't exactly call them healthy at all. They, however, taste delicious.

> I think you're taking stuff way to personally here man. Look at OTHER people's disagree reactions, not just me, my man. People are triggered.
-
People in here doling out disagree reactions like it's a battle arena. Apparently this topic is sensitive for a lot of people. I think there's just a lot of people out there that want to be like, "Not me, I'm NEVER hungry ever! Because everything I do is perfect!" despite all science saying they are wrong. If you're never…

@tufntender Yep yep. Wake up, go to work, come home, make dinner, wash up, do a load of laundry or vacuum or whatever other house chore and BAM, time for bed. I wake up super early to walk before work now. It's the only way for me.

Since someone decided to revive the thread: I went ahead and ate like 3,000 calories that day. I felt much better the next day. I'm pretty sure my body was just screaming out for calories, I had just gotten done with a pretty intense week of exercise. Despite all the food I didn't even put on any weight, and I'm still…

I wake up in the middle of the night every night to go to the restroom. I haven't slept a full 8 hours undisturbed in years. I usually have no issue falling back asleep though thankfully, but yeah, somewhere between 1 and 3am every night....

Thanks!

Deep breath, and one step at a time. Depression is a terrible place to be, but as long as you keep taking one step at a time, things will eventually get better. Life was never meant to be easy, we all struggle, and if we aren't struggling with weight, we are struggling with other things. So deep breath. You're not alone.…

You might be genetically wired to be a bit more hungry than the average person, and that's fine. You just have to have a bit more will power than the average person to make up for it. People behave as if a genetic predisposition is limited strictly to your metabolism. It's not. Some people eat a little more. Some people…

Since the thread got upped: I tried the eatmeguiltfree brownies and they were just 'okay', more like pound cake than a brownie, not fudgey at all. I got some chocolate peanut butter flapjacked muffins, and as long as I don't over water them, they are doing a pretty good job of hitting that 'craving'. Ironically they are…

Results take time. Sometimes lots of time. If you keep at it, you will eventually see results. Even if they are small or slow, they are still results. Contrast that to NOT lifting weights, where you are guaranteed not to get results. Another factor is doing what you enjoy. If you don't enjoy doing something, don't do it,…

Keto is a cult. I did keto for years when I was younger and never got lean until I started eating carbs. People get excited for the first big whoosh where you lose all of your bodyweight, but there's a reason why roughly zero professional athletes or bodybuilders do keto year round. At this point the marketing teams all…

Agreed on cardio being an appetite suppressant. Exercise in general actually curbs my hunger. I time most my meals to be an hour or so before exercise in general. That works best for me.

@cwolfman13 Yup, it definitely is something related to people who lose a lot of weight. I linked one of the articles on it above. Personally I have always been hungry. Fat or thin, I've always been hungry. Bulking in college was a breeze, I can slam down 3500 calories and still be hungry. But for losing weight and cutting,…

Oh, right, because I'm the only person who gets hungry when losing weight :| FML why do I come here?

Why is someone so butt hurt as to put a disagree on my post? Explain what I've done that is offensive. I had a rough time over eating this morning, have no other diet support structure, and wanted to share. This is why I deleted my account last time. I lost over 150lbs using myfitnesspal, MOST of the people on the…
