My mini goal is to get to a size 14 by July 15th when the next face-to-face team building exercise is for my company in Boston . Right now, I'm a loose size 16 (down from 18/20).

I am coming back after a few years. Nice to see 50+ ladies out there. I just turned 50 in August (2021) and am very overweight (sedentary job and addicted to carbs). Thanks for starting the new blog Barbie. Looking forward to the support.

My mini goals are to walk at least 30 minutes a day. I have made contingency plans for hot weather (gym). I also lowering carbs to 100 a day (and gradually decrease). I think cold quitting carbs has what made me relapse several times.

I'm starting a lower carb lifestyle as my cardiologist recommends. If you want to be MFP buddies, just let me know. There are a lot of low carb bread options online, check out Amazon or places like Sprouts. Just leaving it out all together is ideal but it's hard so just ween yourself off.
