Mini Goal

This morning my weight was 177.6. My mini goal is 169 by 01 June 2022. No wine, no bread, no cheese until then. If I reach this goal, I will have a grilled cheese sandwich and a glass of wine - - - and then start the grind again!

    What will you do if you don’t reach that goal? Or if you reach that goal and your weight rebounds because if the carbs and alcohol? Or if you choose to have bread, wine, or cheese before then?

    Have these types of goals worked for you in the past? Have you found that they bring about sustainable, lifelong changes?

    Have you tried habit-based goals that aren’t anchored by a number on the scale that you can’t truly control?

    My mini goals are to walk at least 30 minutes a day. I have made contingency plans for hot weather (gym). I also lowering carbs to 100 a day (and gradually decrease). I think cold quitting carbs has what made me relapse several times.
