both. my diary shows CALORIES for each entry and that's it. when i go to SETTINGS - DIARY SETTINGS, the only thing that comes up is "ooops! return to my fitness pal" error message.

it's still happening, and i've submitted two tickets with screenshots to show the error message i'm receiving. very frustrating because i'm trying to follow my protein very closely right now and i can only see calories!!! >:)

because i found that the exercise calories on MFP are off. it may show (example) that i burn 400 calories on a bike ride, but if i wear a fitness tracker/watch/HRM, it shows lower.

as far as the research i've done, strength training with weights does not burn many calories while it's being done, however you will burn calories long after your session ends. unlike cardio, where you may burn more DURING your session, but once it's over, no more burn. i think it's difficult to track calories in/out, but…

I really appreciate everyone's comments. I've been reading through them. I'm doing 1200 cal/day right now (trying for 4 weeks total) and I've added strength training, too. I am toying with "eating half my exercise calories" to see what happens. Again, much appreciated everyone's time and input. ETA: I was 100 lbs…

(52F) i've done IF in the past - i loved 17 hours of fasting + 7 hours of feasting. I got away from it (reasons unknown LOL) and now that i'm exercising regularly, i think i may incorporate it into my routine again. i was very successful with it allowing me to stay within calorie range for the day, plus I was never hungry.…
