I am little bit in a confusion regarding to this matter. I also agree minuscule minor foods such as some vegetables may not be written, who has the time to note everything? :disappointed: But if I dont write them, I stop logging all together after a while. Do you also have the same issue? How did you resolve it?

My biggest problem is finding the foods that I eat in the list. :disappointed: Most of the time, the meals in the restaurants are not available in the list. Moreover, I just cannot go through a list to find each food or try the measure the mass of everything I eat. And I believe when I eat a pasta, there is a huge…

I think this is my biggest issue. I just cannot start it in a sustainable way. Any suggestions for healthy and deterministic begging for this this?

Wow  Thank you for sharing. A wonderful schedule  For the protein, you might prefer activa or similar probiotic yoghurt or kefir. I have generally stomach pain hence I added a glass of Kefir with activa and now am much better and also has a lot of protein.

This totally make sense! However I just cannot keep the habbit. Do you have any suggestion on keeping up this regularly?

Could you please share an example of this food schedule? Maybe I can learn from it to update mine :)

That was the initial point I took. But I believe my cheat meals just add up too quickly

Wow, really nice ideas, especially about taking picture part  Thank you !

I also feel bad and do not write down sometimes  Do you normally write estimations on such cases? I try to write lower estimations later on
-
Also, how many of your meals do you usually estimate?
-
Hello @lynn_glenmont , may I ask how do you estimate? Just the calories or all the macros? Do you do this for every meal or just some?
-
Hello @BartBVanBockstaele , but isn't the amount of the fats and carbohydrates also matter? What if the most of the calories comes from the fats?

Thank you for your kind answers. I thought there could be more ideas in different forums but as you have stated it might not have been the best idea :disappointed: Could you please retire this post?

That is actually an interesting approach :open_mouth: I also value the overall trend more but still am a little bit confused regarding to what should I keep track for in the long term and why  Do you have any reasoning for your emphasis on the macro split and calories? Do you also keep track of your water…

But this just takes too much efort, doesn't it? How do you even manage it? Do you record after each meal? I cannot even find the foods I eat in the my fitness pal.

I am really unsure about this and would really appreciate suggestions from everyone

Thank you for your kind answer and I wish for good health and happiness for your baby and you  I also hope to lose weight. My only consideration is for example the midnight snacks. I do not know if I should record such meals or just concentrate on the general daily intake.

@AnnPT77 thank you for your detailed descriptions  I believe there is much to learn from your experience. @Rockmama1111 thank you for your kind additions

Thank you for your kind comment :) When recording my macros, I am really insecure and thus just wanted to know what is generally important for different people. Some claim that the meal is important whereas others say the overall calorie intake. Thus I wanted hear people's opinions on this
