I've read it's taxing on the body, but I figured if I'm rested and hydrated, it shouldn't be an issue.

Do you think I should just skip friday or try combine friday and saturday compound movements?
-
Can you list the exercises you do for the full body? Debating if I should just skip upper on Friday, or do a full body on Saturday. Thanks!
-
So I do a 4 day upper/lower. If I'm missing upper (mainly chest) on Friday, what do you recommend I do? Just skip and it is what it is, try tonight even if a little worn from yesterday, or just work out 3 days in a row since arms is Tuesday? Haha thank you!!

Same here. I was trying to hold out until Thanksgiving but I don't think I should?
-
I struggle with knowing if it was a crappy week, or my body is telling me something.

I'm actually not trying to not lose weight at all. I've gained 7 lbs the past year and usually eat 100-200 calories above maintenance. So about 1,700-1,800. I guess I felt guilty because I normally don't indulge/binge like that. When you do have those days, do you just eat like normal after or do you lower calories a bit?
-
Thanks man! Seems like a solid routine. For heavy, are you just doing more weight + less reps?
-
Awesome advice, thank you!!! Do you think these excercises should be done in a certain day order or anything? Thinking of saving upper days for days I wfh or weekend when I have more energy.
-
Thanks for the advice!!!! That 1st arm day is the longest and usually takes an hour. I even forgot an excercise in it. Thinking of shortening it.😮💨

Here's my lower and upper routine. Thoughts on which order? Sqaut RDL Bulgarian split squat Hip thrust Calf raises Bench press Shoulder db press Db row Lat or chest pulldown High/low/side cable lateral raise Cable curl Cable tricep pulldown Deadlift Quad extension Back extension Calf raises Walking lunges Pull-ups Ovh…

I think my arms are just not as strong as my legs. Being short, I carry more muscle/weight in my legs. Someone also told me to do heavy days first cause you're fresh.🤷♀️
-
I got home way later than I thought and had to miss the workout...ugh. life happens I guess. :/
-
I'm thinking of also doing deficit cable sqauts too?
-
Do you still get steps in?
-
@KickassAmazon76 I go to failure every once in awhile rotating on the exercises. Otherwise, 2 RIR normally. I feel the same way. If my schedule gets messed up and I have to exercise 4 days in a row, I'm pooped lol. I find my arms don't perform as well the next day after legs either.

I took a week off of lifting when I went hiking in Colorado back in mid June. But since then I've been almost 100% consistent with my 4x a week lifting. My back and forearms are starting to bother me. But I'm a 5'1 female so it's not like I'm lifting 300 lbs. So it's hard to figure out how much I should deload when I'm…
-
@Retroguy2000 What full body workouts do you do?
-
Thanks all!! I'll just try to hike and do some body stretches/workouts.
-
Of course after the deload, I'm ready to go and then I'm beginning to feel like crap. Sick or it's allergies...Ugh horrible timing!!
-
Okay thanks! She suggested I take the whole week off but I don't think that's necessary. My forearms have been tweakin out a bit but no injuries.
-
A fitness coach I know told me that what I suggested is not a deload. It's just "taking a couple extra days"....ugh lol
-
Thanks! I'll plan on that and make my 2 UL days a little lighter. :)
-
@Retroguy2000 Interesting, thanks! Should I stick to my normal 7-10k steps? Maybe some stretching/yoga? I'm on the 4th day of no weight training and it feels good honestly. My routine is normally Monday legs, Tues upper, Wed rest, Th legs, Fri or Sat upper, Sun rest.
