This is a much better link. http://nikeinc.com/news/nike-fuelband-makes-life-a-sport

Don't know how it compares. Have you been to the above link? I really like the look of it. It is a new product and it has not yet been released yet so your guess is as good as mine!

I really like the look of the Fuelband / bracelet but thanks for that alternative, I had never really researched the fitbit before!!
-
Hope I never see a sign touting that kind of behavior!

Small snack is ok. The nutritionist I was seeing said if you have a late night snack absolutely make sure it is mostly protein, very little carbs.
-
I have the opposite problem...perhaps it is because I go to bed at midnight and wake up at 4:45am BUT right after my workout I am wide awake but by midday, I need a nap SO bad. Or strong coffee!

After posting that last comment, I scroll down and see that there are lots of truly AMAZING pictures!! Way to go ladies!!! You guys look SO good!!!!!!!!!!!!

-
Beautiful!!! Amazing job girl!!!! I love love love your lips!

My favorite response! Not snarky or condescending, just factual and helpful. Wish everyone's post was like this!

Exactly what my nutritionist says!!

I have hypothyroidism BUT I take medicine to make my thyroid normal, so it does not slow my metabolism.

First of all, it isn't "junk." Everyone is not going to believe exactly what you believe, realizing that is part of being a mature adult. I asked that because I had been looking at books on Amazon and saw that and someone posted a review where they lost a ton of weight so it peaked my interest.

I'm just confused because when I was at the doctor's, I said that I was seeing a nutritionist and she had me on 1088 calories. I asked, isn't that dangerous? And my doctor told me that it absolutely wasn't. I only had 10-15 lbs to lose. Him saying this contradicts everything everyone says on here that you MUST eat at least…

You just started the Alternate Day Diet?

30 degree C at 7am!! Wowza! I did the conversion, that's 86F - really hot, especially for early in the morning!. I love morning workouts because you get it done and off your mind!
-
I never ever ever EVER thought that I would be able to do it!! It's just becoming my new normal, I don't even think about it anymore - it's just what I am going to do. I do of course get a nap when my baby naps though and that helps a lot!!
-
I go to this class three times a week. Pump has a cult-like following!! Not so much from me though. I find it boring and repetitive but I need to get my weights in and I much prefer a class setting to doing it on my own. Therefore, it serves its purpose, but it is no fun cardio class!

Quakeroats.com tells you all about the differences in the types of oats. I believe quaker just started selling steel cut oats in their product line and I expect that it will be at major grocery stores soon. I hope at least b/c WhF is just way too far away!!

Can't see your pictures!

Dogs and cats are fat because they are domesticated and it is PEOPLE who feed them! You almost never see fat strays!
-
Did you try the one I mentioned? It is by far the best!! Such a treat, look forward to it everyday.....a bit expensive though! :/
-
Thank you everyone for the supportive comments!! :)

Not sure but when I was doing WW, you were allotted a certain number of points per week and if you ate less one day, surplus points would accumulate which you could then use on a different day. So kind of the same thing as you were talking about.

Pretty sure I wouldn't "lose" with 1600, that's more a maintenance number. I'm pretty short.
-
I like that answer. Good point.

Jimmy Dean D-lights - turkey sausage, egg white, cheese, on a croissant. Less than 300 calories and A LOT of protein. LOVE
