  • I walk or hike 6 to 9 miles a day. I used to be an ultra runner and triathlete but now only walk. I know how to calculate calories burned using distance, time, etc.

  • Thanks. The app is doing it from my iPhone and sometimes it is really close to me doing it manually but sometimes it's way off. It is all from walking so you think it would be more reliable.
  • While calories are the same there is a problem with that. 1000 calories of rich cookies and 1000 of broccoli are much different amounts in volume so it's easy to overeat the high-calorie foods.
