  • One of the things that helps me is eating a sugar free fat free pudding at night with some sugar free whipped topping. I look forward to having a pleasure at night in front of the TV. I have 45 lbs to lose. At one point and time I had over 100 to lose.
  • I have also lost and gained over the years. I am now 65, retired and working on me and getting healthy. I am truly 65 but feel like I am 40. I walk a lot and have elderly parents that sometimes I need to focus on slow and steady - slow and steady wins the race !

  • I can feel I am up on the scale. My scale records my weight so I am afraid to step on it. I plan to be careful for the remainder of the week, then weigh on Sunday. We live at the lake so we end up with company from time to time.
  • Try to exercise if possible. I also read or play games on my iPad. It helps may not work for you but give it a try. You can also meditate if you are unsure how to Google it. Very simple to sit and think about your breathing and your minor goals.
  • The other lunch I have is turkey lunch meat with string cheese, a fruit sometimes cantaloupe and a fruit but like I said I love the mini cucumbers and mini peppers.
  • I would pack a Sargento cheese and crackers and a couple of mini cucumbers. The mini’s are full of crunch and taste. I eat them like an apple.
  • I tried my first plant based smoothie this morning. I think I added too much ice because it is very thick but good.
  • I agree about the cake. I am having a dinner party tomorrow night and I am making a peanut butter cake that I have no idea what the calorie content is and it is one of my favorite cakes. I would not be making it if it was not requested.

  • Welcome Lessennan wow Scotland! Cooking for one is easy such as this evening I had a hamburger and a cucumber with a piece of cheese. Was very easy to cook and clean up. Now I did not have the bread that most want with the hamburger.
  • I agree and it seems it is becoming a habit for me. I go down to the lake get some exercise late afternoon early evening. After exercise I am not hunger I just have some sugar free pudding and call it a nite. I need to work on getting dinner in but so far I have not destroyed my goals.

  • I spent several hours in the water on my raft and exercising as well. I find this evening I am not hunger and removed my evening meal. Not sure if the sun got me because I can eat even when I am not hungry. Dinner was bbq chicken and a garden salad. I feel more thirsty than hungry. I am sure missing one meal will not hurt…
