Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm 55. My highest weight was 150 a few months ago. I'm a little late joining, but finally got some free time to focus on keeping track of my numbers. It's amazing what 30 lbs of fat looks like on a 5'3" small boned woman. Life happened, alcohol sneaked in and destroyed my health. Thankfully, I finally…

@SparkSpringtime69 Thank you! I tho’t I was gonna be away from any natural disasters when movie to TN. I guess I was wrong. This time of year is typical of random tornadoes. I can’t imagine what it’s like living on the coast and having to worry about hurricanes. I hope the winds haven’t caused any problems for you.

Morning LA friends! AF = 9 Total AF = 100 (Woohoo, that’s some dedication right there) Challenge = 9 @NonnieDoiron I really like your rewards especially the scrapbook ones. I’m a scrapbooker too. Haven’t done much lately due to homework. That is done so will be slowly getting my scrapbook stuff organized as it is all boxed…

Morning all! Last night was pretty terrifying. There were tornadoes all over the country and one went right by my house in TN. Gotta love getting that emergency alert on your phone. So much damage within a mile of my house. Going to try and go help others if I can get out of the neighborhood. AF = 8 Total AF = 99 Challenge…

@Stepawayfromthetable So sorry to hear about your friend passing. How awful. At least now you're aware of how evil alcohol is. I had similar instances where we would go out with friends and drink it up. I had a bad case of FOMO. I always thought drinking was what made it fun. That's a big fat lie. There are plenty of…

Good morning LA friends! @NonnieDoiron So sorry to hear about your MIL and the drama. Maybe going back to work will be a blessing. AF = 6 Total AF = 97 Challenge = 6 "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."

Wishing everybody an amazing May and that you all will reach your goals. So sorry to hear about the puppy. My May challenge is to log all my food and keep it between 1200 and 1500 calories. I made it through April with no alcohol or N/A beer. 92 days alcohol free. I will continue to work out with weights 3 days a week and…

Good morning my friendly peeps!!! Sorry I haven't been around much. I worked my *kitten* off to finish my last college class at age 55. I am finally done. WooHoo. The weight that lifted almost transformed me into a new person. LOL. Now I am knee deep in yardwork. We moved to a new home back in Oct. and haven't had the…

@SparkSpringtime69 I can relate. I chalked it up to be FOMO. I should have mentioned this in my previous post. I always felt like I was missing something if I didn't imbibe when others were and I felt somewhat envious thinking they were having fun because of the alcohol, but it was the togetherness that was fun. I learned…

@Womona You're so lucky to have seen the eclipse. It was cloudy in TN so I didn't get to see it. I hope there will be another one or some sort in my lifetime. It's funny how some people like wine and others like beer and others like the hard stuff. I liked both beer and the hard stuff. I was picky about beer tho. I liked…

@NonnieDoiron How is your MIL? Good job on your AF days!!! @SparkSpringtime69 Way to go on your numbers and being consistent with posting. I'm so busy with homework that I haven't had time to come here and post. I'm still doing well with the no sugar and no N/A beer. I did have a diet root beer tho. It was in the house and…

@Michieb125 Sorry for the late response....been doing homework. So glad this is my last class. (ethics) Will be done the beginning of May. At 55 years old, I have to wonder why I put myself through this torture. I believe in always learning, but this is a bit much....anywho, I have been a heavy drinker for the past few…

70 days AF. That's the longest I've done in over 5 years. I've lost 5 pounds since April 1. I'm thrilled to finally see the numbers move. No sugar, no N/A beer, and no processed food has been the game changer. Still being mindful of portions and calories as I tend to overeat cuz I eat fast. LOL. Not a fan of counting…

Thank you. I'm at the tail end of it now. Just some lingering sniffles. Energy still a tad low, but will be ready to crush it at the gym on Monday. Sorry to hear about your teeth. I bet once those teeth are out you're gonna feel so much better. Your body has been fighting that infection which weakens your system. I hope…

@zensome @NonnieDoiron I'm a big fan of this lady.....Cass from Clutterbug. She has some videos on cleaning and adhd. She also helps determine which bug you are. LOL. It might help people understand why you clean/organize the way you do. Here's a link....https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=clutterbug+adhd about…

March was completely AF, but I did drink N/A beer throughout. That's a big win for me tho. February 4 was the last day I imbibed so 58 days no alcohol as of today. I sleep so much better, but know I can sleep even better since I am cutting out sugar/processed stuff this month. I'm also giving up the N/A beer. I did make it…

I am really dreading Monday morning. Not because of the challenge, but because of taking before photos. I am so ashamed of where I am, but I think taking a photo before, during, and after will keep me motivated.
