In my experience, I used 4 total meal replacement shakes daily for 3 months and no exercise, under a doctors monitoring, looking at losing between 5-15% of my body weight (I lost 8%). I then introduced healthy low fat balanced meals one a fortnight swapping out the shakes while walking 5-10,000 steps a day.

Priority should be given to people with medical needs but I think itโs more of a supply demand issue that needs to be sorted out rather than people who want an easy way to lose weight buying it all.
