Hi, I use MFP every day and love it! It is always good to have friends who use this site in the same way!
-
I think that's a great idea! Hopefully, she will reappear.
-
Oh these all sound so wonderful....

Well, started with 165 and ended at 162.5. Not a huge amount, but I'm just happy to have lost anything over Thanksgiving! I think knowing I was in on this challenge definitely helped.

Oops, clearly deleted the quote lines around the first two parts. Sorry!
...I have the sense of humour of a 13-year-old boy. I don't know if I could talk about that without giggling constantly.
I think a lot of us might have the humour of a 13 year old boy. Man. And people are counting on us scientist to make the world a better place. We're doomed ;)
My students…

That is so true!! It is life, not a diet. It's about retraining your body to act healthfully.
-
Okay, I'm 165 lbs as of this morning.
-
I haven't mentioned it to anyone outside my family and MFP. Somehow it is more gratifying when people say "hey, have you lost weight?". You know they aren't just being polite 'cause they know you are trying to!
-
What kind are you interested in? Even though I'm a paleontologist now, my PhD is in anthropology. Send me a message with your interests and I can try to help.
-
I'd like to join! I've got about 32 pounds left to go and can use all the help I can get! I'll post on Monday.
-
Welcome! This is a great place. Feel free to add me as a friend!

Hi! I'm Margaret. I'm a vertebrate paleontologist in a biology department at a state college. I teach anatomy and other bio courses. Cap's blogs are refreshing!

Hi! I'm Margaret. I'm a vertebrate paleontologist. I work on the evolution of carnivores over the last 20 million years primarily in Africa. I've also done some work on primate and human evolution.

Ah, it is only raining here (and has been all day). They got our hopes up with snow, although I don't know what trick or treating would be like. Granted, I love listening to the rain.

Definitely! Please post.

When you are exercising, your body needs more calories to sustain itself. If you've only gained a few calories, it may not make much of a difference, but if you exercise a lot and don't "eat" the calories it is just the same as if you never exercise and were way under your calorie allotment. Your body needs the food.

Ditto. I went from "A is too big" to a C cup as I gained weight. I've only lost 13 pounds, but I know the boobs are gonna start disappearing some day. Between pregnancy, breastfeeding and the weight gain, who knows what they will look like? Even though clothes aren't really made to fit A-cup women, I don't see myself…

Great costume!

Welcome to MFP! You are welcome to add me as a friend, if you like!

Figured it had to be! I saw your recipe right after I had a taste of Thai iced coffee cheesecake and was trying to think of something that might taste that good, but w/o the damage. My husband and I are really looking forward to these! Thanks for posting it!

This looks wonderful! What is the measurement for the powdered sugar?
-
raw like sushi

Looks yummy!

Sushi and anything with cheese (well, sushi with cheese would be gross, but anything else with cheese).

Sometimes it just all works out.... Today I spent a couple of hours cutting down bushes in the backyard. Tonight, I'm having daiquiris or maybe margaritas with all the extra calories I earned. Last week it didn't...ended up at a reception where the fabulous buffet was part of the point of the party......sigh. Sometimes…

Hi, you can add me, if you like!

140.....but if I can get a little lower, that's good, too! My freshman year in college I was 118, but I'll never see that again. I don't think I was really done growing then, anyway.
