My short term goal is to weigh under 150 lb before my birthday in Jan. Long term goal would be 140. I am 159ish now. 150 by Jan is doable I guess.

I want to get to 140 but may end up going a little lower. But at that point I will continue eating healthy, exercising tons, and not worry so much about numbers :) at that point whatever happens happens. I am a hair under 150 now, down from a high weight of 190+.

Always around the 150 mark I was convinced that this was a healthy weight and it must be my ideal weight. Well after 2 kids Im now 124.6 (2days weight) and kind of mad at myself for under estimateing myself for so many years. My goal when I set out to lose weight was 130(thought this would be the lowest my "bigger" frame would allow). Well, it ends up when I lost some weight my "bigger frame" is actually a small. Now I allow myself a 5lb buffer and if I hit 130 I know its time to put the runners on and get to work! I am now going to get more toned and see where I go from here. 120 is a great goal for me now!
    5ft 6inch is the best!!:flowerforyou:
  • my goal is 150. I have 50 pounds to lose!
  • I am 5 7" and I currently weigh 181. My goal is to be about 160. I have weighed 150 before and that would be fabulous. I look very fit at 150.
  • In my 20's I would have said 120. Now in my 30's my goal is 130. 52 lbs to go.
  • 150 ... For now... Once i reach that goal its 130 and to tone up

I always thought I was 5'6", but at doctor's appt earlier this year, I learned I was actually 5'6.5". When I was in high school, I got down to 135 - 140. Now as a "pushing 40" adult, I think 150 - 160 will be best for me. Heck, I'll be happy with 199. ;) I have lived far too long in the 200's and 300's most of my adult life. :/

I'm 5ft 7.5 and the lowest I have been is 131lb and I was still fat so aiming for 126lb and then I'll see how I feel.

Sorry to join in, I know I'm taller but can't find anywhere for people over 5ft 7! There seems to be plenty of groups for the little people though

OK I guess will be the chubby here. I have 276lbs and realize that at 170 I am in a size 10 jean. I want to hit 165 and then I will re evaluate and possibly go for 135.

Ha Ha - I am the chubby girl. I am aiming at 175. I would look like I had a sever eating disorder if I was to get to 130 pounds. Plus, I am older and confortable in a size 12 or 14.
  • Hi I am 5'6 and 3/4! Aiming for 9st 4lbs (130lbs) but even when I was an elite athlete (yes really) I could never get below 143 lbs - pretty solid muscle. I guess I know when i get there. Definitely going to do my measurements with a tape as there comes a time when you're losing inches but not weight as my husband is just finding out..!

140.....but if I can get a little lower, that's good, too!
My freshman year in college I was 118, but I'll never see that again. I don't think I was really done growing then, anyway.
  • My goal weight is 120-125lbs, ultimate would be 115. I need to see how it looks when I'm 120-125lbs first though aha.
    I'm currently 138ish, so 13lbs to go! :D
  • I am at 139 pounds. I want to weigh 132.

Im 5'7 and currently weigh 168. My ultimate goal would be 115! That is where I was pre-kids and I loved myself then. I have a ways to go but I am not going to stop until I get there!

It should depend on your body structure. Some ladies are large framed (and I don't mean that as an excuse...it is a fact) and some are smaller framed and yet the same height. At 150 I am in really good shape, when I drop below 147 it is really hard to maintain and I begin to look a bit gaunt in the face. Just my 2 cents.

Hi I am 5'6" and just hit 132 this morning a little toning in my legs and it's perfect. I am a size 2 or 4 depending on the cut. I am medium boned but have a large chest. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'6" and currently 149. Goal is 130, but I'd probably be happier with just about anywhere in the 130s. :)

(But I have to admit, all you 120 goal people are making me a little jealous...)
