Experimenting with a homemade....
South Carolina sauce, but my own recipe...using red currant preserves (found a LOW CARB VARIETY!! Im SOOOO EXCITED!)
Was happy to have found a GREAT sale on Pork Butt at 1.89/lb today...
Got the crockpot going right now, will add some slivered onions about half way into the cooking to get them caramelized with the SCRC sauce... If it comes out right, Ill post the recipe if anyone is interested...

my focus was to change up the traditional sauce by not using any brown sugar, white sugar, or any carb-ridden item of the like... But, I found a Red Currant preserve that was VERY reasonable on the carbs, and tastes soooooooo good.. Im very pleased with the way the sauce recipe came out... and cant wait to get the pork going!0
