Oh Lord I have too many to count...I'll start with a fairly safe one though My hubby and daughter went out of town for the weekend. I decide it's gonna be a good old fashioned moms night in. Me, the laptop and a bottle of merlot. A few hours and an empty bottle of wine later I decide I had better stumble up to bed. I take…

I have one cheat day a week. I usually still do my workout but I eat whatever I want. I find it easier to keep on track the other 6 days when I know I can indulge that craving on my one "cheat" day. It's what works for me and I always find that I am more disciplined through the week. And the scale has continued to move :)

I'm not sure. I was in the process of healing from a c section and a BRUTAL labour an delivery when I had Mirena put in. I haven't been able to lose much since i stopped breastfeeding. I just had it removed a couple of days ago and I am really hoping I see some movement on the scale. I'll keep you posted :)

This dude has got it completely right. eat more of the "right" things, watch your sodium, up your water. It WILL come off! Get moving and track every single bite! You sholdl probably be eating way way more than 1200 cals if you're severely overweight

Dinner is my last meal. I eat dinner no later than 7 and I don't eat again.

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. My BFF has PCOS and has gained a bunch of weight too. She just underwent her first invitro fertilization and we are praying for her! Best of luck to you. I am also a nurse and know a little bit about from a medical perspective. Feel free to friend me, I'd love to hear how you do on…

I asked this same question a bit ago and got this answer. As long as you entered your information correctly and you are wearing it correctly it is most likely correct. If you haven't been losing like you expect maybe you are eating too few calories for such a heavy burn? Just a thought Maybe upping your cals would result…

Agree ^^^^^^^ 100%

I bought a heart rate monitor. I burn more than 300 calories each time I do it!
-
BUMP!
-
I'd say the answer is pretty simple...KNOCK IT OFF! You can't expect to eat poorly, snack late night, and drink excessively and still lose weight! You don't have to quit doing those things altogether but 4 nights a week is just too much. Not good for your heart, liver, kidneys, etc. Sorry, to be harsh, you may not…

upper body workouts can get the heart rate up as well as walking or any other cardio. Sit and air box or use a punching bag as you get better at it. If you just punch the air fast for a minute or 2 you will feel your heart rate soar!

Thanks everyone. Yes, I have entered my height, weight, age and gender accurately. I was walking at a brisk pace but I just didn't think I should be burning that much! It's a wrist one, not a chest strap so that can't be it. And I updated my heart rate every couple of minute0(like it says to)s so it would be as accurate as…

My first suggestion would be to get a heart rate monitor and use ti next time you mow. I found MFP was way off for me. Good luck!
-
I second this. I have been a start Monday girl for years but this time, something is different for sure Good luck!

Bump!

Personal opinion is this: if you use them as an occasional meal replacement they're super handy. However, I don't believe in it as a long term plan. I just don't think something like that is sustainable and most people I know, myself included, gain all the weight back. I did like the shakes and bars though, they taste…

Lol I'm with Glenner. Before I do 30DS I always empty my bladder completely! Good luck to all who participate! Sounds like a great idea!
-
Woohoo! Great job!

wraps! You can make about a million different kinds and all you need is an ice pack in your cooler/lunch bag. Egg and bacon chicken and feta Ham and swiss Chicken cheese and salsa Anything you can make in to a sandwich you can make into a wrap. Also salads don't really need to be refrigerated either
-
I want in too! I just saw this thread and I am planning on buyingt he dvd when I get off work at 3 and starting with everyone.
-
I always weigh in on Friday mornings. It's the day of the week that will be the most accurate I believe because it's just before the weekend. I always "cheat" on the weekends a little.

I posted almost this exact same thing a couple of days ago. If u want to look it up I titled it FRUSTRATED! DAMN YOU SCALE! Everyone had lots of advice for me. Give it time, your body is changing and maybe in ways that won't show on the scale.
-
I have to agree, it looks delish!

I don't expect to lose everything I want to lose in 2 weeks. I was hopeful for results and discouraged when I saw none. I am a nurse and I formerly worked as a weight loss councellor, I am very aware of how these things work. It's just that I have never worked this hard for NO movement on the scale. It is always a small…

You're here. That's step one. Filling out your info and getting started is step 2. Sounds like you have 3 beautiful kids to do this for. MFP is absolutely wonderful. I get super frustrated and every time I need to ***** or complain - or I just need advice - everyone here jumps in and gives me exactly what I need Welcome!…

I absolutely agree. Once in a while is ok. Try to do better tomorrow. Every day is a new day to make the chages you want to make and SEE the changes you want to see!
