YES!!! I absolutely LOVE my Fitbit Flex! I am very goal-oriented though. I guess that is part of what I like about it

For me, it is a HUGE accomplishment. It doesn't mean that I didn't eat the appropriate "fuel" but that I actually did enough activity (workout, exercise, whatever you want to call it) to reach the calorie deficit required to lose weight.

I kept 2 pair of pants from when I was a size that I felt and looked good. I have been trying them on more frequently as I have been losing inches. My "scale victories" have become fewer and farther between - with my weight even creeping up some as I have been doing more strength training - so to see the transformation in…

I use Herbalife 24 Prepare.

Thanks for posting this! It is almost exactly my story! I am 5'2" with a SW of 173! :noway: I am on the right path now and your results are VERY encouraging!!! :flowerforyou:

This about Herbalife except I liked the shakes right away. The deal is - as with anything - it is not a "miracle worker" ... you still have to work it. For me, it was the tool I needed to get back on track with getting the nutrients I need (that I was not getting in my regular diet) and retrain my stomach that "bigger is…

The only one I've ever tried is "Ease into 5K" ... it has been good for me. I know there are a ton of options though. Good luck!

When I was dealing with this, I was told it was the shoes. So I went to one running store and got a "fit assessment and evaluation" which led to the purchase of $100+ shoes. The first week after was even worse. So I went to a different running store and had an assessment in those same shoes AND my original shoes. They said…

Almost exactly ... But it sounds like that wouldn't be a viable option since you are the only adult at home with such young children. Hubby recently purchased T25 and has been doing well with that. Since it is only 25 minutes (excluding cool down) maybe your children could handle that long ... ?

I'm going to disagree with a lot of the replies you have seen so far. I began using Herbalife - replacing 2 meals a day with Shakes - on April 12, 2013. I have continued using MFP to track all food and exercise. My goal is to stay between 1200-1500 Net Calories. I have noticed since beginning Herbalife that I have WAY more…

I haven't looked at your diary but from this post, your story is almost identical to mine! My physician suggested that I NET a MINIMUM of 1200 cal/day. I have been trying to meet 1200 intake on my "rest" days, 1350 on my "weight training" days and 1500 on my "cardio" days. Since I started that, I have consistently been…

My goal weight is higher than most 5'1" ladies ... but I want to be proportionate to my top 1/3! :blushing: My goal is the same as it was before kids ... to look good and feel good! The last time I was at that goal, my weight fluctuated between 132-137. So, I set my "goal" as 135.

This ... mine will be 5 years in August and I have already made my appointment to get it removed and a new one inserted!

My thoughts exactly. I don't reply to many of these posts - only peruse them for my own interest in my weight loss journey. This topic just caught my attention.

I have the Ultra (wanting to upgrade to the One LOL) and LOVE IT!!! A little about me ... I'm crazy competitive - even with myself - so it keeps me motivated. And my 7 year old daughter always asks "is your flower growing" without even realizing that she is challenging me to be more active! :flowerforyou:

This is word for word what I was going to post

My girls are 4 & 7. I recently completed JM30DS and have just this week started Ripped in 20. The only thing I have found that works is to either send them outside to play or wait until they have gone to bed. I tried to do the get-up-super-early thing but I already have to get up no later than 6:30 to be at work on time. I…

I've been there - but don't give up. I have my highs and lows. I am only down 8 pounds in over a year. But my non-scale victories are WAY more obvious. For example, I bought a dress size (and my hubby said "that fits really well!" that I haven't been able to wear since 2004. My measurements are consistently going down. My…

This is what I just started after finishing 30 Day Shred. This is new for me, though. So I don't have any real feedback yet.

Completing all of a day is a HUGE accomplishment! I just completed Day 30 on Sunday (go me!!!) and cannot tell you how good I feel - emotionally in addition to physically. It is the first time I have truly committed to a healthy lifestyle change! Last night I started "Ripped in 30" - I actually think I like it better, even…

I'm 5'2" and when I felt my best (and looked pretty darn good, too!) I was 133-136. 8 1/2 years and 2 kids later, I'm shooting for 135-140!
-
For my milestones, I do something that makes me feel good - mani/pedi, clothes, hair cut/color, etc ... CONGRATS! :flowerforyou:

I SOOOOO agree with this one! I'm 5'2" and when I looked (and FELT!) my best, I was 135#

Special K Cracker Crisps. They are good alone, with dip, with salsa ... I just like them

SOONER!!!!

You sound identical to me! I'm 5'2" and started at 176. I initially went for 1200 net cal/day but was not losing anything. When I went to my doctor for my annual wellness exam, she recommended going to 1500 net cal/day for a goal of losing 1/2 pound a week. That was 6 weeks ago and I have steadily been losing. My motto has…

I do weigh myself every morning. Just to see how the previous day has affected me. But I only record my weight once a week.

AMEN!!!! I'm in the same boat!

I have had the Mirena IUD in place for a little over 4 years now. I also have worked as an RN in an OBGyn Office for 3 1/2 years. I can tell you that the people that gain weight with a Mirena in place (myself included and I will explain my personal experience) have also had a lifestyle change that contributes to the gain.…

My hubby pushes me but in a positive way. When we go to the track together, he stays with me - even though he wants to run  - BUT he walks faster than I normally would if I were by myself. He also regularly makes encouraging statements ("I've really noticed improvement" for one example). And he wants to eat more…
