  • Nice work! I'm really struggling just now with time but I'm getting on my horse for the first time since my illness today so we will be getting fit together! I hope! You're doing a spectacular job!
  • Wow. I was going to suggest cooking and freezing your own meals until I read the rest of your post I have nothing to suggest but I do hope you find a solution!
  • I have the book and watched the series. I loved the recipes I tried but I did find that the calorie information in the book wasn't right.
  • Lots of egg whites being suggested. Why egg whites? I tend to eat a whole egg as I find just using egg whites a but wasteful and as far as I know, anything that claimed eggs were bad was largely defunct. Am i wrong there? Also should say that I've tried gf & df protein powders and found them to be super gross!
  • Some interesting suggestions here. Not sure steak wrapped in bacon comes into the inexpensive category though! Lol! I make my own smoothie type breakfast most days but as I will now have the chance to sit and eat something I'm looking to make the most of it. The spinach thing looks interesting but I hate raw tomatoes and…
  • [quote="SwindonJogger;368047 The screen is plastic. If you wanted to be sure then a sapphire crystal would be a better choice, virtually scratchproof. The Fenix 3 HRis a multisport watch with built in HR and a sapphire crystal. But it is very expensive and at 51mm diameter may be a big for you. Suunto are bringing out a…
  • I'm most worried about him damaging the touch screen to be honest but being able to replace the bands will also be pretty useful down the road I'm thinking! I'm thinking of the vivosmart Hr+ as it has most of the same features, all the ones I know I will use, but a small screen to break.
  • That's fab! Thank you! My horse has a thing for watches and is always chewing on my loop! I don't fancy him doing that to a posh touch screen! Lol!
  • OK, some good suggestions there! Though I do have to say that I don't know what more than a few of them are. Google will help with this I'm sure! Sadly I can't just get on with it as I normally would as it is my big toe and it is load bearing so walking, running, planks etc are a no go in the gym just now. I've just had an…
  • I too stayed the same this week. Maintenance is my goal but I wouldn't hate to lose 7kg in the next 10 weeks though!
  • This is my fear. I have done research and now want others thoughts, feelings and experience. It's quite clear the direction the general feeling is going though.
  • And the vague nature of what some of these people say is so suspicious as well! If you really love a product you are selling and believe in it then you would be only to happy to go on and on about everything you know and answer reasonable questions!
  • Hmm, fair enough! This is exactly why I asked! I had a friend unfriend me because I asked about the research and the contents of a product they were selling for weight loss and they wouldn't give me a straight answer. Back to the money making drawing board I think!
  • I have been very quiet of late but I am still about!
  • Were you still eating at a deficit? If so, no matter how small, it has made a difference and you should be proud of yourself! Now you just have a new goal to work towards and you know you can do it because you have already done it!
  • I can understand both your opinions but rest assured I have my reasons. I know my body and I know my habits (after 3 years tracking and experimenting I ought to! :)). This will not make me miserable as over doing these things makes me miserable. I have been so busy I have forgotten all the nice things I used to eat and…
  • Thanks for this! Very helpful! I do love a bit of hummus! I have a real issue preparing stuff ahead of time but I think you are right and I will just need to get off my butt and do it while I am cooking dinner. I am so fed up of being rushed all the time! Also have to say, thank you for reminding me of the yummy things I…
  • Wow! Was not expecting this many replies!! First I have to say that I have been on here for 3 years and have lost 7 stone so I do have quite a good idea of what I am doing and how to log. Thank you for that though. If I was a newbie that would've been helpful. I have been eating at maintenance or there abouts while not…
  • Thanks for this! Because my Bodymedia is technically a KiFit it doesn't sync unless you plug it into a PC. Bit of a pain. i do love it though. Thats why I want more info before I seriously consider swapping it for something else.
  • What? Nobody? Bump!!!
  • I knew I wasn't going potty!! I am loathe to Google things as I work in health care and know it can be a minefield but recommendations work the same but with better results normally! I am hoping once the pre holiday anxiety clears up I will be ok!! Fingers crossed!!
  • Wow! Even more yummy appeared while I was typing! Now I am hungry!
  • Some fab idea here! Thank you! I am lactose intolerant so not sure about the cheese additions but I like the idea of mixing fruit into a salad! I am away to check out those links! :)
  • What!? Nobody? Bump!!
  • Hi All! Thank you so much for these! I do need to clarify though, I can only sync via USB as I have the KIFit version. No bluetooth or wireless transfer. The projection for yesterday as over by at least 500 calories but it is early days so I am sure it will learn! And I will upload before bed from now on as well. Thank you!
  • What! No-one!? Bump!
  • I had a really funny incident a t work one day! We had an occasion so I made a cake (I can't eat normal cake and I wanted to be included) but everyone else was on a diet so while they ate grapes I had a nice slice of my cake before heading to my planned gym visit! And I still had loads of calories left that day! :) My…
  • I go by both along with looking at my fitness level. You gave us your lean muscle mass but not your body fat % as well btw.
  • I have lots of fun problems! Including Anxiety and PTSD. I have found therapy and excersise to be the best things for me. I can't take meds as I have a bad reaction to them so these are really my only options anyway. Exercise uses up the bad chemicals and hormones and realeases the good ones and the therapy kinda speaks…
