There is a diet called Sun Gazing where you stare at the sun and you supposedly get all the nutrients you need. No need for food.

I most definitely find the elliptical burns more calories in the same amount of time. BUT, you can raise the calorie burn on the treadmill if you run or walk at an incline.

I've had a NordicTrack for several years and have not had one problem with it....and I do use it regularly. The one I have is CX 990, so I don't know what the latest is in that line.
