Need your help....I am starting to plan my Halloween (party) night, i'm going to a big party that night and will see lots of friends. I was planning on preparing chocolate peanut butter balls ( http://www.preventionrd.com/chocolate-peanut-butter-pretzel-balls/ ) and chocolate pops for my friends. One of them is diabetic and stays away from gluten because of high blood pressure, I want to prepare her a treat but have no idea...any suggestion?

Good question, she is 45 and was just diagnosed a month ago...don't know if it helps

Is she overweight? More than likely type 2 if she is. In that case, she would be limiting her carbohydrates. My experience is more with type 1 so I don't have suggestions, but you can probably find something with low carbs for her.

    Good luck.

Yes, she is overweight and I know that she has cut sugar from her diet.

    Maybe sugar free candy?
Or look up some recipes for sugar free cupcakes, or even brownies.
