There's nothing like that first pull on an ice cold beer after playing 45 minutes of hockey. And after a few more, I'm still in a deficit because I just burned 900 calories! I hit the gym after work 3 days a week, so I don't drink on those days unless I have a game that night. The weekends however.... another story.…

I have to admit--I'm pretty tired today. Not "exhausted" but tired. A bit sore as well. I'm trying to lose weight (fat) and seeing a massive difference. Waist size went from 44 to a loose 42. Wearing 2XL shirts instead of 3. I just don't want to push my body too hard and risk injury. I'm not exactly 'young'. I'll be 50 in…

Add a dose of Metamucil before bed. Works like a charm! :)

Surprisingly my sodium level is perfect. For the last 3 years after a full physical and blood work, it has been. It drives my wife crazy because she thinks I'm a salt-aholic (which is true) but so far so good!!

I guess "clean" for me right now is a lot of fish, vegetables, greek yogurt, berries, whole grain bread, turkey, string cheese, pork, and some steak too. I also enjoy hummus and carrots, as well as chick peas by themselves. Sunflower seeds as a snack (high sodium I know) but also hydrating well throughout the day. As long…

Definitely not. BUT- they’re already in top physical shape. I’m trying to lose weight, and was a bit miffed when I saw I gained a pound after all that activity. But from all the terrific answers I’ve received, I know now that there’s a lot that affects weight fluctuations. I’ll continue to eat clean, make sure I’m in a…

I’m currently down 28 lbs. I have around 32-33 more to go to reach my goal weight. 2 weeks ago I played hockey 5 out of 7 days. I also had a deficit every day. I was excited to weigh in on Monday but was frustrated to see that I gained a pound. Fortunately this past Monday when I weighed in I did lose 2 lbs. I’m wondering…

I've had days of 18,000 and as low as 3,500 if I'm on a day off of everything and relaxing. It varies but I average 10,000 a day usually.

I did, and still going over my calories because I changed my activity level to "lightly active". I think I should change it to "active".

My steps are automatically added as exercise, and I add my workouts separately.

Sorry all, I just started back on the journey in August after weighing in at 295. Even forgot I was part of this group until I noticed the high number of females on the forum sites. I'll be more active now that I'm back

Bright and early at work. Had a late hockey game last night at 9. A bit sore, and I have my strength training workout after work. Gonna be tough NOT to just walk past the gym.....
-
Pour them in my Greek yogurt. No taste, a little crunch but I enjoy it.

Morning all-had a hockey game last night at 9 (lost 2-0  ) At work today, a bit sore, and I have my weight training workout after work. Need a bit of a push to make sure I get in there lol

HA! Every day I want to pig out and sit on the couch! Ya know what? I did this past weekend. Started Fri with the rehearsal dinner. Then Saturday a boozy and bad food lunch, then the wedding where I was so drunk I don't remember much. Not good at all. Then comes Sunday. Hangover and White Castle sliders all day. Then…

I subtract the step calories from my Watch workouts for MFP.

So far I've felt pretty good, albeit sometimes my after work workouts have me feeling short on energy. Perhaps because it's the end of a workday or maybe not enough good food consumption throughout the day.

When you start seeing resultsTHAT will "motivate" you to hit the gym or whatever you like doing.

I have a Taylor model # 7506. Consumer Reports rated it a 95 and an "Excellent" on accuracy. So far so good.
