@Officersbride - not a celebrity per say... But a young Jodi Benson, (who supplied the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid). Also a bit like a dark haired Bernadette from The Big Bang. She's very pretty not made up to look nerdy! This is Jodi Benson. She was very beautiful, I think...…

Melroxsox = Olivia Wilde, a bit.... The eyes.

Miss Jenova = Jane Krakowski sort of.. But when I clicked on the photo to make it bigger I had to say "Avril Lavigne"

I am the same way - I'm not really missing dessert so much either. I'm not missing sugar like I thought I would. I did treat myself a little over a week ago since I made my dad a caramel apple pie cheesecake for his birthday. I decided I would have a piece as a reward for being so good for 4 weeks. That would have been…

I'll see how I feel after a week. My exercise allows me to eat quite a bit while netting 1280 cals. I've had a massive amount of food today and all of it quite satisfying while keeping my carb intake to 55 grams. :)

Thanks so much for all of the replies :) I dropped my weight loss goal to 1 pound per week given the 5 pounds I have left. I'm now at 1280 cals net a day with a less vigorous workout schedule. Six 45 minute workouts a week now as opposed to Six 1 hour workouts. I also set my carb intake to 20%. Created by MyFitnessPal.com…

Somehow we got onto speaking about starvation and low cal diets which isn't exactly what I was going for. What I've heard is that low carb eaters aren't too consumed with eating a higher amount of calories than those who aren't low carb eaters. I was just wondering how many low carbers out there tend to follow this…

Heya, I've been eating back my exercise cals so generally I'm actually taking in anywhere between 1500-1800 cals a day but exercising off 300-600 depending on my calorie intake. I try to exercise to make sure I net under 1200. My BMI is 23 so I'm not overweight anymore... But I still would like to drop another 6 pounds.

Don't worry so much about the fat if your carbs are kept low. It's not the fat alone that will kill you. Watch "Fat Head" and look up "Big Fat Fiasco" on YouTube. It's in 5 parts. Then watch "Science for Smart People". Fascinating stuff!

Friend me :) I'll help you along with some recipes :)

Um... Have you actually read ANY of the scientific clinical trials regarding this "mumbo jumbo"? Because you might find yourself QUITE surprised.

This assumes that people are stupid. People AREN'T stupid. Nutrition information is EVERYWHERE. On packages of the food, in flyers in the restaurant, on restaurant websites. It's readily available. People KNOW it's not the healthiest of things to eat in the world... Or, in MY take, it's not that bad depending on what you…

BMI is a bit of a scam. It doesn't take into account muscle mass at all.

LOVE these!

The thing is, that your body burns calories just existing depending on how much you weigh and your height etc. Your body NEEDS energy to move, to breathe, to replicate new cells, for your hair to grow, for your heart to beat etc etc. So if you start eating way less calories than your body needs to function, then your…

I was having the same issue thinking maybe I was eating way too much, but I decided to try to always net my 1200 calories or stay within 100 under at 1100 and so far so good! in a week I've lost 2.5 pounds and couldn't be happier. I don't like the idea of my metabolism getting all wonky and thinking that I am starving…

Uh.... I think burning 2000 calories in one day constitutes a glass or two. It's only a little over 100 per 4 oz glass so go for it.
