I'm going to piggy back onto this one. I bought a HRM over a year ago. My first one was a watch HRM. HATED IT!!! It was so inconsistent, I might as well have just taken my pulse and done it myself. Then I went to a Polar F4 with a chest strap and was very happy with the product. Any HRM that you buy, i would certainly…

yup...anything with jumping will spike your calorie burn. i do kick outs, stride jumps, jumping jacks, and what i call "hot boxes" to boost my heart rate. at the end of a rep of 50 jacks, or 30 hot boxes my heart rate is usually around 155 or so. ( i try and keep mine at an avg of 130-140 while working out)

I've been using the FT4 for several months now, and love it. i work out down stairs in my house, so i dont need to worry about coding for people around me. i havent had to do anything to it, other than adjust the weight as it's been dropping. good problem to have. ;)

i usually have some beer on the weekends when i bbq, or a glass of wine at night, or maybe some jack daniels every once in a while. all in all i'm somewhere around 3 to 4 days a month. i record it all.

i echo they nike training app. i use that some times as well. very good work out! i have some equipment down stairs in my basement that i use, but other than that i do crunches while holding a medicine ball, and i do suitcases with the medicine ball, push-ups, wall sits, planks, mountain climbers, kick-outs, etc. i'll even…

my breakfast is usually one of my top 2 meals of the day calorie wise. i usually take in about 500 - 600 calories. sometimes 700. toss up between breakfast and lunch being #1 in calories. dinner i usually try to trail off with calories, and if at all possible keep it low carb.

6 pack on the weekends. no issues.

Around a month ago i had to go out and buy about 4 pairs of pants because my old ones were way to big. Then just a week or so ago I had to pull the belt one notch tighter. NSV's!

make sure you syncronize the monitors. i believe there is a section in the game that helps you with that. if you dont do it, they will not work correctly. it should be in the directions if you can't find it on the menu in game. have fun!!
-
Well... .i guess your husband must be happy after the super bowl! lol I hope you have fun with the game, and it works out well for you. It will take some tweaking to get the best work out for yourself, but for me it was worth it.

they always forget about southern maine. /sigh lol

NFL Training camp comes with two monitors. Each monitor will take 2 double A batteries, and of course you will need a wii remote. It also comes with a green plastic resistance band that is used in some of the work outs. The game itself is divided up into different workouts. From memory you have your strength training,…

Do you wear a heart rate monitor when you do your cardio? If you do, what type is it? I bought one a month or two ago, and i am not having any luck with it. I need to look for a new one.

Shawn from southern Maine. Looking to take part in a 5k Fun Run this summer, and work hard on some cardio this winter. Almost halfway home to my goal.
-
Forgot to mention that the work out I use on NFL Training Camp is about 55 minutes long, and i usually get 700 calories burned on it. That's my main cardio fix during the winter time. In the nicer months i try to get out and run when i can.

you picked up another one. i see we aren't very active at all. feel free to join the northeast version. it's about 280 people i think? probably more. just a number off the top of my head. i'll be posting different things i'm doing on here. feel free to do the same. let's get this new england thing rolling. :D

Mainer as well. Joined in September of '11, and have been pretty much doing my own thing on here. Venturing out into a couple groups and testing the waters so to speak.

I'm an NFL nut myself, so it's only fitting that I use the NFL Training Camp. I ususally do a custom cardio work out that I have made. I average 710 calories burned in 55 mintues. It works for me.
