this, plus protein (like chicken) and yogurt and/or probiotics when you feel up to eating again. Don't force yourself to eat if you're still feeling sick.

VS doesn't sell larger than a DD cup (unless they've changed that) and they have a maximum band size so they try to "fit" you into what they actually sell. My best measurement session was at JCPenney where they actually sell a very large variety of sizes and seem to just want you to be comfortable and in something that…

Make an extra (chicken breast, pork chop, steak, whatever) at dinner, then slice it up and put it on salad for lunch.

I like it as protein pudding (with peanut butter and 1/4 cup of vanilla whey). I use it in stuff (smoothies, pancakes, eggs, etc). I have yet to enjoy it on its own but I'm getting there.

Please go talk to someone--whether it be a counselor or a doctor, whoever it is can point you in the right direction to get the help that you need. 150-160 is a very healthy weight for your height. You are nowhere near fat. If you continue to lose, your body is going to start consuming muscle and bone because you've lost…

Eat at fairly small deficit (no more than 20% if you're obese; no more than 10-15% if you don't have as much to lose). Lift heavy 2-3 times a week. Do cardio if you'd like but heavy cardio isn't required. I'm currently eating at TDEE-20% which is about 2000 calories for me. I'm doing New Rules of Lifting for Women (in…

Lots of help with diet and symptom control here (assuming that this is the IC that you're talking about... my mom has it). http://www.ic-network.com/ These are all great foods to eat and there's a new 2012 food list on the site as well. Water Milk - low-fat & whole Fruits - Bananas, Blueberries, Honeydew melon, Pears,…

((hugs)) Do what you can for now. Run the miles that you can to stay fit and work on another sport in between now and when you can afford to do the surgery. If you decide never to do it, know that 4 miles is more than most people can run, ever.

Your before measurements and pic are about where I am now. I just started NROL4W and I am so hoping that I have results even close to yours in 5 months. What an inspiration you are! :)

Are you able to use the gym on campus? I know when I went to school (Penn State in the 90's/early 00's), students could use the gyms. If you can't do that, target and walmart sell dumbbells for fairly inexpensive prices. Those would store easily in a dorm room or apartment and you can do some really good routines with just…

It's also been called a number of other names--Mayo Clinic diet, Hershey Med Center diet, etc, though none of those places have ever endorsed it. Put a hospital, cardiology center, or other official-sounding (military) name on something and people think it must be healthy and it must really work.

Just printed them out to put in my recipe binder. Thank you!!

This. Check craigslist for equipment--I got my stuff for super cheap that way. :)

You're doing a great job! :) I could definitely see it in your face before and now pics!!

Give it a couple of weeks to a month at your new calorie level before you reevaluate. I increased my calories 2 weeks ago and gained a bit at first and now I'm losing again.

I'm starting today, too! Feel free to add me. :)

Increase your protein intake AND your magnesium intake. Those chocolate cravings are usually due to low magnesium.

Hi! I'm Kate. I just picked up a marcy weight bench with cool accessories and stuff yesterday (yay craigslist). I'm anxiously awaiting my copy of NROL4W from amazon. I have always loved lifting, but having two kids means that getting to the gym has been a challenge lately. Now, I have no excuses as I have about 250 lbs of…

Have you looked at chair exercises? There are a bunch of short videos on youtube that you may be able to do, even with your injury. I found this one in just a quick search: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_XEGNgx0W4 The first part is all light upper body without weights but you could add weights as you get stronger. This…

I'm 5' 3". I was 114-120 all through high school and college and then moved out on my own and my weight started climbing up. Three pregnancies and two babies later, my highest weight was 197, the day my youngest son was born. He just turned 3 a couple of weeks ago and I'm down to 160. I'm weight training, walking, running…

Wow!! Great job! :)

This, but no dog here. I don't run on the bike path here unless I have a friend with me.

Great job! :) You look amazing!!

We do freezer crockpot kits and they turn out well. :) You just need to remember to grab them out of the freezer and put them in the fridge the night before. I had another thought today as I was going about my business--I do a lot of "morphs" because we don't love leftovers. If I'm grilling chicken, I'll grill enough for 3…

I like the C9 by Champion stuff at target--good quality, low price. The sports bras fit and support me well and I'm a 38DDDD while nursing.
