Gels, gu, dried fruit/nuts. Depends on how far you're going but I could do a 50+mile ride on that and water with maybe a sports type drink also.

Try to figure out what triggers them. Spend some time researching headache triggers. Turns out beans are one of mine so I just avoid them. There was a good post earlier about a nutrient diet for headaches. its not normal for the body to be in pain everyday, its a signal that something is wrong.

Someday I'm going to try this, although I do just like regular oatmeal also.

Will look at this at home! thanks!

Stick with it, i was super sore the first four days but day five it went away!!

Alcohol is rated a carcinogenic as tobacco is. When you tell people you quit smoking they cheer and congratulate you, when you tell people you quit drinking they think you're crazy. Your body thinks alcohol is poison but somehow not drinking is strange.

I use the Almond Breeze unsweetened, I am a big tea with milk drinker and for me to switch there had to be no noticeable difference in taste. I like the shelf stable not the refrigerated kind, which I think has a stronger almond taste. Try it though.. noone can say if you'll life it, excpet you.

I'd go to the doctor and get your levels checked. Fatigue is how I know my thyroid is off, when i am getting 8+ hours of sleep a night and i'm still tired, then I know something is wrong. Perhaps you should get blood work done?

Find ways to distract yourself... read a book, call a friend, take a walk. Distract yourself. If you can't moderate then dont' keep them in the house. Find lower calorie alternatives.. chocolate pudding, hot chocolate, etc.
-
Not to be rude but if you ever find a fruit that can cure a chocolate craving please let me know!!
-
jello sugar free fat free chocolate pudding.. works for me. hot chocolate.

I think when you do TDEE it calculates in your activity so you don't eat back your exercise calories?
-
Its not that you fall off the wagon that counts, its how quickly you get back on!! okay, so you binged. Look back and see what you did and then don't do that again. So you were good for 16 days without results. Great.. how about the rest of your life? you didn't gain it overnight and you wont' lose overnight either. Your…

Need more information.. what are you calorie goals? how tall are you? what are you eating currently?

If you filled up your cars gas tank and drove so that it was 3/4 empty you could not then drive home on that amount of gas, you would have to refill it. You are eating 1200 calories and using up 1100 with exercise, you are then expecting your body to work on only 100 calories. Which is probably why you are not losing…

Relax a little.. you didn't gain it all over night and you won't lose it either. sometimes the first couple of weeks are slow as your body adjusts. If you give in and splurge you'll have to lose that .6 all over again PLUS probably at least one or two more. If had kept at it all the times I've just given up I'd be at goal…

Since you're posting on MFP you'll probably get more towards MFP. I actually really like WW and its sort of my "go to" program. I am never exactly sure how many calories I should be eating (calculate 1200 or BMR or TDEE??) so the confusiong makes me not stick with it. With WW I'm given a number o points to work with, if I…

Cute dress :)

the best plan is the one you will stick with. I find that WW works better for me because I dont' have to "worry" about how many calories i "Should" be eating and i have always had success on WW. However, there are many that argue that just because fruit is 0 points on WW doesn't mean it doesn' t have calories in it. Many…

I loved the movie and others mentioned also (fat, sick and nearly dead, food Inc, vegucated, etc). I am currently on day 17 of a 30 day "meat free" but I'm struggling with it. The meals I am eating I'm not feeling satisfied on and I feel like there's soemthing missing. I am now drinking Almond Milk instead of dairy but…

Find something else to do with your hands.. take up knitting for example. Or put gloves on, brush your teeth.. or find a different activity until you can watch TV/youtube without snacking (think about quitting smoking you have to avoid the triggers)

Alcohol even within your calories will affect weight loss. The body proceses alcohol over everything else. I stopped drinking and lost 10lbs. To answer your question yes, this absolutely could be slowing your weight loss.

I did level one day 2 this morning and I am sore!! mostly legs/butt but some chest/arms from push ups. I'm hoping that the soreness passes after a couple of days.

Practice in your yard if you can. I put talcum powder in my socks to help me get them on easier. My transitions were my weak point in my first tri but I'm sure i'll get better! Remember, even if you're last, you're still lapping everyone on the couch or who hasn't gotten out of bed yet!!
-
without being able to see your diary and what you put in it, i'm not sure there's anyway to answer this question

I weigh every morning and hate it when i can't. The fluctuations keep me on track and I find that I get a little lost without the daily accountability.
-
Google, Jeff Galloway 1/2 marathon or marathon training program.. they do run/walk programs for all lengths. I love his programs! totally doable. Remember, the only thing that will make you a better runner is running.
-
I really like them. They are lower in fat than potato chips so they are better in that aspect but at the end of the day they're still processed but I use them as a salty snack substitue. I've also jsut discovered baked kettle chips which are also really good!

Did you start working out this week? that could accoutn for it.
