  • Jodye - hybrids are a nice way to add variety to your workouts. As you know, when you do the same thing over and over again, your body gets use to it and you can plateau in your results. I really love a TurboFire or Jam mixed with Chalean Extreme - really balances out your strength training and your cardio training. I…

  • Lucky girl! We went in July - I took my portable DVD player and CHX with me, as well as my resistance tubing. And I ran/walked 3 miles almost every day. Amongst my friends, I was the only one who didn't gain a bunch of weight on the trip - and I ate chocolate melting cake for dessert every day!
  • Have to admit, I'm in week 3 and just did my first Yoga workout yesterday (sheepish grin).. Can I get an "owwww!" from he crowds! I'm feeling it already in my bootie. Today, I took my first scoop of the new Energy & Endurance formula. I'm doing Rockin Body for my warm up and then I have Total Body. Has anyone tried E&E…
  • LOL! It's amazing what Tony can pack into 10 mins. My husband started doing it this week - I'm really proud of him. He did P90X with me a couple years ago, but has a lot of back pain, so has kind of laid of the exercising for a while.
  • I'm with you on the foam roller thing. I actually skip that part of the workout and don't do the mobility and recovery workout (I know, for shame!!!). What do you think about Yoga?
  • Ditto on your assessment of week 2 being harder and the why. SHOW off on the crunchy levers. I can't do any!!!
  • Well that certainly gives me something to look forward to....NOT! LOL! I've been kind of enjoying phase 1 now that I've got the hang of it. This is my 3rd week. Was trying to decide whether or not to do one mor week or move on.
  • It does seem like the "cruds" are hitting. I've had something since before Christmas. I don't really bad anymore, just tired of having the "gunk" stuck in my throat. My daughter told me this AM that she was going to start riding the bus if I didn't stop "hacking up" stuff while I was driving her. LOL! Of course, I said be…
  • Thanks for the tip! Are you doing Rock the Parkway? I haven't started training yet so I don't know that I'd be ready for that one.
  • I don't have that problemo Rhenee! LOL!
  • I had at least 3 ladies in my challenge contact me this week saying the same thing about "I don't get it, I can't catch on!". They just started on Monday. I told them, if you could do if perfectly on day 1, you wouldn't need to do this workout! They are loving it too!! Once you get the hang of it, your workouts will be so…
  • Just FYI - I did Fire 45EZ today and burned 500 - I'm 120. I've been doing P90X2 for my main workout, so today was my "rest" day.
  • I would like to start training for a 1/2 Marathon - any pointers would be appreciated. Also, I'm in Kansas City, so curious as to what are the best halfs around here.
  • Good for you! You are going about it just right! And a 2 lb loss is excellent. And the fact that you are doig such a good workout program means that as you are losing you are also reshaping your body. Keep up the great work!
  • LOL! I think mixing your workouts up is a good idea - keeps you interested and keeps your body metabolism really on fire. I would wait til you had done at least a week or 2 of the TF program - just to get thru all the workouts :-)
  • Every Beachbody workout, probably just about every workout, has push ups in them! LOL! I guess they must be trying to tell us something! I did P90X a couple years back and prior, could never do a push up on my toes - now, I can pretty much rock those babies - still not a big fan though!
  • Awesome job ladies! I love CHX! Have you done the CHX/TurboFire hybrid yet? That really rocks!
  • I have it and it does work. For best results you will actually stack 3 10 minute workouts each day. But it's nice because you break them up - 1 or 2 in the AM and the remainders in the evening. Good luck! Love to hear what you think!
  • Thata's the way I feel too! I went on a cruise this summer and took my CHX and my portable DVD player. I did CHX and ran/walked 3 miles on the outside track every day. My friends that were with me I'm sure thought I was completely anal. But you know, I wasn't doing it because I "had" to, I did it because I wanted to! It…
  • Jen have you been working out prior to TurboFire? It is fast and intense, but completely doable. There is a Prep Schedule which is good to follow if you need to build your endurance up, and there is a New to Class option on the DVDs that breaks down the routines. I won't lie - it will take a few repetitions of the DVDs…
  • I would really like to know my body fat percentage. I don't need to lose any weight, and my muscle tone is good, so body fat percentage would be a good motivator for me. I've tried those calipers, but I don't get them. I was going to do the X2 nutrition plan, but I've not started that yet. I'm on day 1 week two of phase 1.…
  • Yes, Amy, it is nice to have an at-home option for when you don't, or can't, get to the gym. The PUMP workout program is awesome!!! YOu won't be sorry if you get it!
  • Welcome Jill! It sounds like you are a Chalene junky - like the rest of us! I totally recommend doing the full round of TurboFire - losing 10 lbs by March should be breeze with TF and a good diet! I did Fire 55 yesterday and per my HRM, I burned 580 calories - I'm 5'5, 120 lbs. Before the HRM, I logged in Kickboxing for my…
  • I love the burn InteIrvals. The first time I did the whole series, I kind of struggled with "just" doing the weight workouts - I'm kind of a cardio junky. But I stuck to it, had faith in the program, and I'm telling you, after 90 days, I was lean and ripped! I just got my HRM and love it! I'll keep you posted on my…
  • You're hilarious! It's really quite yummy! My husband wouldn't try it at first because of the color, then I put blueberries in it and it was kind of purple, and he didn't know it was greenberry. Not that is ALL he drinks! LOL!
  • I'm kick starting my January with the Shakeology 3 day cleanse. Has anyone tried it? I do it once a month now. And I drink Shakeology every day which has really helped slim me up, whittle down the body fat, and keep me energized. If you're really serious about making 2012 THE year, I would recommend trying it. Also, great…
  • Rhenee - Are you going to get on Shakeology as welll? That will really shred the fat off of you! Bikini babes, here we come!
  • That's hilarious! I'm almost 44 and all I have is bikinis! And looking better in them each year I might add!
