$100 can definitely feed 2 people for a week. You just need to be flexible in meal planning and will take more work in terms of cooking, but can definitely be down. when I was out of work I tried to keep food down to $50 / week for two. 1. Look for sale items and coupons on staples. 2. look for the produce on the rack with…

Also try oscar mayer low sodium bacon. I can't tell a difference between that and regular bacon and it would help with your salt intake if you are as someone mentioned eating bacon 5-7 times a week. also, deli meats are loaded with it. try roasting your own chicken, roast beef or turkey at home instead.

Hello, I'm sure this has been beaten to death, but is everyone following the diet in the book? It just seems like so much food!

I'm impressed. I've downloaded the app, but have been to chickensh*t to try it. thought it would be good try it since you can always get a workout in if you run. Many of my friends have either been runners or started running recently. BUT, I hate, hate, hate running. Always have, both when I was a swimmer & then when on…

for those wanting the cookie butter w/o buying the jar, they have by the registers a candy bar w/ dark chocolate filled with cookie butter. Its delicious. i think its $1. gives you that cookie butter fix, w/o having to have too much self control.

the negative opinions of it are interesting. I love it. I drink so much more water because of it. usually 1-2 L a day. as someone else said, as long as its the sodium free kind, go for it. oh as someone else mentioned - polar peppermint kind is very tasty - tastes like a candy cane, even almost tastes sweet but w/o…

I love starbucks, the vanilla chai probably has vanillla syrup in it - maybe try 1/2 sugar free & 1/2 regular syrup. I recently (about a month ago) started doing it with my iced coffee from starbucks. after 2-3 days you dont notice. One day a different girl made my drink and didn't do the 1/2 sugar free and the coffee was…

And depending on what I have on hand, I will add red pepper…

how necessary is it to do the reset? I honestly don't think I was eating a very low amount of calories generally. maybe days here and there, but overall I don't think I was.

Based on your comments, it seems as though you are going into this with a negative attitude, instead of focusing on what I can't have - pizza, picnics, etc. focus on ways you can incorporate all those things into your daily life, even if it means adding 10 mins onto a walk, so you can eat x. The picnic with foods from the…

Thanks, for the info. The people I'm referring to are co-workers of mine. It seems more of a lack of opportunity to learn to swim growing up, cultural issues etc. rather than a phobia of the water itself / traumatic event etc. They have both said, they enjoy being in the shallow end, but get nervous in deeper water. I've…

One tip I've gotten from the girl that used to cut my hair, (She noticed it was green one summer - I'm blonde) was to make a paste / thick liquid with baking soda and water and run that through your hair, rinse, then Shampoo and then condition. A gentle way to get out the chlorine.

For an asian inspired salad - 2 teaspoons soy sauce (I use low salt) 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons asian sesame oil 1-4 cup veggie oil (I use canola b/c thats what we have) 1/2 teaspoon sugar (I use honey - keeps everything together better and tasty!) And depending on what I have on hand, I will add red pepper…

keep swimming, as you get in better shape, you'll breathe easier. slow down a little, may make breathing easier. breath, every stroke rather than every 4
