One of my favorites is Southwestern Egg Beaters and Laughing Cow cheese. I spray a small bowl with pam, and mix the egg beaters with a piece of LC cheese cut up into small pieces. This is a great thread. So hard to stay motivated. But once you make up your mind, it can change! I'm taking it one step at a time. I bought it too. It's okay. I just have to say no to peanut butter. Can't eat it every day cause I eat too much. Gonna allow myself to have it a couple of times per week.

I think it does help. With discipline and with energy level. You can lose weight without dieting, but you are not creating good habits. Good tip! I think allowing yourself a treat at least once a week is okay...I have gotten in the habit of picking up candy bars every chance I got. Invest in a fitbit or similar device. Try to work toward getting 10,000 steps per day. You don't have to start with that, but work toward that goal. It motivated me to be more active.

I like this attitude! This is a new way of life, and I have decided I will always have to count my calories so I won't over do! Once I let go and stop counting, weight creeps back up! One day every once in a while is ok, but this will be a way of life for me!

I think that is how much you actually burn each day. So, you could maintain by eating this much. you could lose one pound per week by eating 500 calories less. Hope someone else will chime in on this.

New to weight training too! My scales are showing a gain also.....and I'm so tired and hungry on wt days! Will this get better? Aerobic activity usually gives me energy!
