That sounds yummy I will keep my eyes peeled for it, can you get it from the local supermarket or only at organic stores? I can already tell I'm going to be seeing a lot of changes in my grocery shopping

Another question for future reference.. Can anyone recommend a healthy alternative to dairy milk? I have heard differing reviews about soy milk so just wondered if their are other alternatives?

You have a good point there and I will take that into consideration, I do plan to phase out eggs once I know I am ready to but like another poster mentioned it's making small changes at a time and this is just the first step to eventually phasing them out completely

Even though I want to cut out meat, I'm not quite ready to get rid of eggs just yet because they are really filling and I love eggs! I just found out the farmers market down the road from me sell organic farm raised eggs from a local chicken farm where I know the chickens are well looked after so I'll be buying my eggs…

I have heard that reverse crunches are a good way to start too. I've been battling the baby pouch for 3 years now! I've only just started making an effort to lose weight so hopefully this works!

I'm still on level one, today is day 6. I'm aiming at 10 days on each level. You definitely notice a big difference after the first 5 days or so. This is my 2nd attempt at it, the first time I only lasted a few days because I got so sore lol but the longer you stick with it the easier it gets. i'm determined to see this…

This sounds so yummy! Can't wait to try it :)

I just read about this the other day. Now I've started juicing leafy greens along with my fruit and veg :) It definitely makes an improvement in the way I feel each day

Esther Ekhart has really good Yoga videos for beginners and she has a you tube channel which she updates with new videos all the time. I would recommend checking her out. Her Youtube channel is called Yogatic

If you're having trouble getting enough iron the easiest option is iron tablets. I take multivitamins every day so I know I'm getting a good amount of iron, vit C etc. And tracking sugar is always a bit difficult as fruits are full of natural sugar and I eat a lot of fruit every day so I'm always bound to be over. As long…

Just a tip. Apples need to be cored if you are going to be juicing a large quantity of them as the seeds release a cyanide compund so you wouldn't want to consume too many at once although one or two won't hurt

You can create your own recipes. Add each item individually then you can save it and add it to your food diary from your recipe tab

I have heard a lot about juice fasting lately and I think it can be good sometimes. But if your body isn't used to it maybe start slowly by replacing one meal each day with fruit/vegetable juices until you can manage the full day with just the juices and then work your way back to full meals again by replacing one meal…

I failed miserably the first time around. On my 2nd attempt at level one and I'm determined to stick with it this time. I also bought her fitness adventure for kinect yesterday and while it doesn't feel as intense at first, because there is so much stopping and starting, some of the workouts are intense and do kick your…

I have heard a little bit about shakeology but I'm just not sure where to get them from. I'm in New Zealand and I don't know if they are available here. I like the sound of the spinach combo, I will have a look for some next time I'm out. If I can get the kids to drink it too that would be a bonus!

I don't know too much about it myself but my mother was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia. She walks to work nearly every day but thats usually only about 30 mins. If she has had a long day or is feeling tired than she can't walk far at all. I would be interested in finding out more about this too though. Maybe gentle…

Me too! Chia seeds are amazing! :)
-
Rolled Oats mixed with yoghurt and chia seeds. I usually let it sit for about half an hour to absorb then put in the microwave for a few mins. The chia seeds expand and help you feel full longer

Another Kiwi right here :) The more the merrier!

I count herbal teas as water but I don't count coffee as I heard it can actually make you more dehydrated if you have too much
-
I drink healtheries or twinings range of herbal teas. At the moment I'm drinking healtheries be charged tea with ginseng vanilla and blackcurrant, twinings sweet fennel tea and chamomile tea. Another favourite of mine is rosehips and hibiscus. I don't like adding sweeteners but if I feels like sweetening it up a bit I just…

When I was a kid I used to have it with butter and soft brown sugar on top, wait for it to melt then stir it all in, and maybe a little bit of milk on the side if it was too hot. I've always prefered mine made with water, have tried a few different variations but this will always be my favourite

I think maybe once or twice a week if it was me, cos I know I do go over occasionally but as long as you are eating healthy foods instead of takeaways/junk food then it should be ok?
-
Sushi is one of my favourite takeaway foods because it is so healthy but only if you know which ones to choose. Stay away from anything battered or teriyaki. Salmon and avocado are one of the healthiest, also the vegetarian rolls but salmon and avo is my personal fave :)

I type breastfeeding into the food search when I log in my breakfast every morning and log it as "breastfeeding-1 day". Its usually 300 calories a day for me but some mums can burn up to 500 cals a day depending on how old baby is and how much they feed
-
You shouldn't be going hungry if you are doing it right. Are you logging all your excercises? If so then definitely make sure you eat all of your exercise calories. 1200 calories a day is the bare minimum someone of your weight range needs to eat without exercise. Just remember the more you exercise the more you need to…

I copied this from another article I read. If you feel bad about your name (at all), stop now. In New Zealand, a kind judge has legally changed the name of a 9-year-old girl who had been living with the name Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii. Embarrassed by the name, she had asked friends to simply call her "K," which I can…
