Hello Everyone!
I am new here and was wondering if I juice at home, with apples, oranges, carrots, and celery. How exactly do I log that? Do i just put the foods or what since most of the food is not included in the juice.
Help please!

Oh, that's a tough one... I wish I knew too! I was just thinking how I would log homemade almond milk...0

Wow, great question! I was just running that one through my head two days ago. My mum got this really amazing, top-of-the-line juicer and made me some carrot-apple-grape juice the other day. So good! I just pushed the whole carrot thru, even the top! And you just had to cut the apple in 1/4s; I didn't even core it! Too cool.
I'll ask her, maybe she knows.
Anyone else?0 -
You can create your own recipes. Add each item individually then you can save it and add it to your food diary from your recipe tab0

This site has some juicing recipes and the nutritional information for each: http://jointhereboot.com/reboot-program/recipes/
Unfortunately, I think with juicing, you still get the calories of the whole fruits and veggies, but the pulp that is created is all the fiber. I could be wrong, but that is what internet research on juicing has told me in the past.0 -
use the Recipe button (available once you open Foods), and create a recipe. It has you enter a name, each ingredient/quantity, and number of servings it makes (you determine how many ounces, etc., a serving is by dividing the total quantity into the units you usually consume at one sitting. You get a breakdown of calories and nutrients. Even though homemade things may not always be exactly the same each time you make them, it's a good guide. Of course, you can create a new recipe for each version you make, if you like.0

I just searched it and came up with this...... *Homemade - Fruit & Vegetable Juice - Kale, Celery, Cucumber, Orange, Apple, Beet, Carrot. I know that has more in it then you are putting in, maybe you could just add each juice separately. There are ways! lol0

Just a tip. Apples need to be cored if you are going to be juicing a large quantity of them as the seeds release a cyanide compund so you wouldn't want to consume too many at once although one or two won't hurt0
