My oldest daughter and I are doing the Rock n' Roll Half-Marathon in Los Angeles on October 28th. We've got a while, but since this is our first we think we'll need the time. We are both fairly new to running. =)

I've got the HTC EVO 4G. It's my first smartphone. Before my EVO, I didn't see why I would want a smartphone. After I got it though...I'm never without it! The Cozi Gold app has saved my butt so many times. With 8 people in the house, knowing what is going on in the month is really important! I sleep with my phone. lol

Today's my weigh-in. I'm at 125.0. It is a 1.2lb loss. Yeah!

Still at 126.2. Considering I ate more than normal on Yom Kippur, I'm happy with that. I'll get back onto my fitness schedule tomorrow. We've had company here and it gets hard to keep your routine with house guests.

How is everyone doing? I got my run in (Week 1, Day 2 of Couch to 5k) earlier. My oldest daughter went with me, which was a great motivator to keep going. I didn't get 100 crunches, but I did do 48 bicycle crunches. I figure I'll work up to 100 of those because I'm new to that exercise and don't want to injure myself.…

My husband told me he could tell my waist is smaller. I didn't realize it until he mentioned it...my pants have been getting loose. I've lost 5 inches! =)

I've cut out bread, but then, I'm cutting my carbs down to 20 a day while I'm in the Induction phase (14 days) of Atkins. I don't miss bread anymore, as much as the idea of sandwiches. lol I suppose once I am able to get some grains in again I'll make my own low carb bread. I love baking my own bread.

I'm 5'2.5". My goal is to get to 103lbs. That was my post-pregnancy weight after my first baby. It was the first time I'd ever been at a healthy bmi.
