I LOVE challenges, too. And like Dani, I started the 30 squat challenge last week with some co-workers. But, since you're a girl who loves challenges, please feel free to add me, too!! Good Luck!!! D

Hi Dawn! I am 4'10" Female Highest weight 191 lbs (at 10 months pregnant) Current weight 144 lbs Lowest weight 111 lbs (years ago and I looked HORRIBLE) Goal weight 130 lbs Hey what can I say, I want to be smaller, but I need some meat and curves to keep my hubby interested

 For me, it was the weight that I was 1) Most comfortable with as an adult, 2) The weight I was prior to adulthood hitting me hard and adding darn near 40lbs onto my little frame and 3) Seemed ideal to me. I reached my ideal weight pre-pregnancy and am now 7-10 lbs from it (I fluctuate). BUT, when I reached it, I…

I felt the same way when I came back into the fitness game after having my baby. Pre-pregnancy, I was ALL about regular cotton shirts with jogging pants....and that's it. When I came back into the gym after having my son, all I saw was dry-fit outfits, under armour wear and for my particular FAVE class, Zumba wear. I now…

I'm OPEN...no shame in my game. Feel free to add me and/or peek into the life and times of Dara

Mine are... 1. Right Size Smoothie - Vanilla (powder form) 2. Hawaiian Punch Sugar Free Packets (I don't drink anything but water and need some flavor sometimes) 3. Minute Brown Rice - Individual Cups 4. Bumble Bee Tuna - Low Fat Tuna (pouch)

Two Big Pet Peeves: 1. Sweating ALL over the machines and not cleaning them (like there isn't cleaning supplies provided) 2. Talking on your bluetooth and/or cell phone disturbing people's grooves There's others, but these occur way to often at the gym!!!

LAUNDRY!

You ALL are inspirational...I've only lost 3lbs, but I am certain with dedication and determination, I will get these last 9-14 lbs I want off, off soon and very soon. Good luck everybody...You can do it!!!

Just to be "happy" in my body like I use to when I cheered and ran track in High School. I know its High School, but I looked pretty dang on good! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Bump to EVERYTHING MElly said. But, if you're struggling with motivation with workouts, start out with something fun (e.g. ZUMBA classes or water aerobics [sinc eyou have joint pain]). You burn so many calories doing both and you don't even notice it. On top of that, both allow you to pace yourself. Other than that, set…

My Husband...he has a life-threatening condition and if I'm not healthy to take care of him, who will?!?!?

Though I see the routine you are creating and it sounds realistic, for the sake of your muscles and just your body in general, you need AT LEAST 1 rest day. Why? Regardless of your workout, you tear some form of muscle because you may have worked it in a way you normally don't or that its not familiar with. Having the rest…

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us…

Like others, I recommend a HRM (in particular the Polar FT4). Its more accurate and in sink with your body. Good Luck and keep up the good work. You'll definitely see results!!!

I want to lose about 15-20lbs also. I'm at 150lbs and would like to be anywhere around 130-135. My son is only 5 months, so I am struggling with getting in workouts more than 3x/week. So, any help that any of you ladies can be, will be greatly appreciated!!!

DITTO!!!

Three things I like about my body...hmmmmmm?!? In regards to fitness, the following: 1. My arms...they are really getting toned and I LOVE to see the muscles accenuated in the deltoid and forearm area. 2. My buttocks...I never really had one before having a baby and I guess having my Baby Boy and immediately exercising and…

OMG...You Go Girl!!!! You look amazing :-) Keep up the GREAT work not only for you, but for that beautiful baby Boy!!! Again, KUDOS!!!

Hey Lady! I am in the same boat. I am two pounds from my goal weight and set a deadline of 12/31/2011. So, I am feeling the pressure of failing because I just can't lose them. I think its all psychological and us putting too much pressure on ourselves. I think what I will do and will suggest to you, is to lower your goal…

 GREAT JOB Lady....PLEASE keep it up! You are truly a motivation to others

I agree with everyone else. I've incorporated peanut butter into my diet versus eliminating it. Peanut butter versus jelly is much healthy on toast, for example. Like another MFPaler said, get the individual cups, so you can properly measure your usage.

Yes...go to www.zumbacalories.com and it will give you approximately how many calories burned based off your weight and age. I always log it as aerobics, high impact and input the figure the website gives me :-) Hope this helps!

Also, congrats on your victories and NSV!
-
You sooooooo just motivated me. I'm only 4lbs away myself. I've been stuck in a rut, but I'm willing to keep at for a healthy and better me
