I'm fairly new to Paleo as well....going on 3 weeks now. I have found for me it's easiest to make sure I make enough of my dinner the night before and then just take leftovers for lunch the following day. This has worked great so far for me. If I don't have leftovers and I don't feel like salad I throw a ton of raw veggies…

I watched it....and LOVE that someone is taking on the challenge that he is! It's about time someone gets to the root of the issue of fixing the obesity crisis in the US. I like his up front blunt approach and really hope he can make the difference this country needs.

Funny you post this topic...I bought some sweet potato fries for the first time yesterday and have been pondering since what I should have as the main dish with them! Great ideas so far!

Since I love how my earbuds that came with my ipod sound I wanted to just be able to use those while running so I ordered these hooks that clip on to them and they work great. Here's the link: http://www.roadrunnersports.com/rrs/products/BFT100/

Weigh in day for me.....no change...still stuck at 135. I think I need to change up my workout routine next week to shake things up so I can get these last 7 pounds off!

I eat a handful of chocolate chips to curb my chocolate craving. It works great for me and has very few calories!

My simple rule of thumb is carbs before and protein after.

If I'm in the mood for salty/spicy I like to add green onions and hot sauce. If I'm in the mood for sweet I add yogurt and frozen berries. Both are delicious!

For me eating right is harder. I eat pretty healthy but staying away from sweets is my downfall. It's so hard for me not to eat chocolate! I love to run and go to the gym...I just love the "high" I get from it, so working out isn't much of a chore for me...more of something I really look forward to in my day.

I was looking online trying to find an organic brand...but so far, no luck :( What brand do you drink? The only two I can find at stores by me are Blue Diamond and Silk.

Unfortunately most good sports bras do cost a lot. However a well made one will last a long time. Here's a link to a good one that I absolutely love. I use it for running and it works great. It also comes in a ton of sizes. http://www.roadrunnersports.com/rrs/products/MCL217/

Great job on the loss!

Definitely need to take a break to let them heal! If you continue to run they will only get worse and you won't be able to run period for a while. August is still a ways away....so give it a week off to start and see how they feel after that and go from there. You still have plenty of time to train and you won't lose too…

Awesome!

Weigh in day for me! So I'm only down .1 lb. Oh well, its still better than a gain! Last week: 135.5 This week: 135.4 Great job everyone...lets keep it up!

Good morning all! So I have been doing great sticking with the water challenge and actually going over my goal for my water intake! I've been doing good sticking to working out this week too...so I'm REALLY hoping the scale gives me a good number this week! I didn't have much time online yesterday so I'm trying to catch up…
-
It's 3:00 and I'm over my water intake goal by 16oz! WOOT!!

Great job on the early weight loss and healthy weekend choices! I'm hoping my healthy choices will show on the scale this week too! Have fun at the gym

I workout in the evenings right after work. That's pretty much the only time I have to fit in my workouts so that's the only reason why I do it then. I usually have a very light snack about an hour before I hit the gym, otherwise I tend to burn out a lot faster and start to feel a little nauseous. I workout 5 days a week…

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a happy and healthy weekend. I'm pretty proud of myself. I had an engagement party to go to on Saturday and opted for all healthy food and stuck to drinking water and splurged and only had 1 glass of red wine. I'm doing great with the water challenge too and really focusing on…

MMMMM....that's one of my favorite's too!

I love Kashi Heart to Heart Warm Cinnamon.

That sounds like a great idea to me!

I was able to get outside and run for the first time yesterday! I am so so happy my treadmill days are over...yay spring (almost)!

I usually gain a pound or remain the same during my TOM. I usually end up just skipping my weigh in that week because I just know it will be off.
-
Anyone have plans this weekend? [/quote] It's me and my honey's 6 year anniversary....so I'm sure we'll be going out to celebrate on Saturday....I'm going to stay strong and order WATER instead of wine

Tahinni is sesame seed paste. You can find it at pretty much any health food store. I'm lucky enough to have found it at my local grocery store (Meijer) in the ethnic foods isle.

Hummus is my FAVORITE! I just make my own...it's so much cheaper. I eat it with crackers, carrots or on occasion tortilla chips. 1 can chickpeas (garbonzo beans) 2 cloves garlic minced lemon juice (squeeze half lemon) 1 T. tahinni 1 red pepper Blend it all together with a food processor or other mixer until creamy...YUMMY!

I recently tried Greek yogurt for the first time and it's delicious! It's low fat and very high in protein. Makes a great mid morning snack.
