02/12 - 212.20 (OMAD Day 08) +0.80 lbs O/N *1,272 CALS* 1g C/73g F/133g P I gave back more than I expected after sticking to my OMAD with no add-ons. I think what I will try today is a meal that is lower in fat yet higher in protein to see if I can get some of that back before putting in another full 48 HOUR FAST on…

02/11 - 211.40 (OMAD Day 08) -2.10 lbs O/N *100 CALS* 0g C/10g F/0g P (40 HOUR FAST) I was able to recapture my losses from the past extended fast as well as a little more. This time my plan is to eat clean the 2 days I spend refilling my tank. This means around 1,250 calories and close to zero carbs with NO eating beyond…

02/10 - 213.60 (OMAD Day 07) +1.70 lbs O/N *2,009 CALS* 103g C/87g F/197g P A heck of an overnight bounce. I did end up eating more calories over the course of the last 2 days since my extended (42 hours) fast and it looks like its finally catching up to me. Also for the second day in a row, I ate a little something (750…

02/09 - 211.90 (OMAD Day 06) +0.50 lbs O/N *2,296 CALS* 132g C/121g F/172g P Very happy that I did not give much back from breaking my extended fast. In fact, I am thrilled with the overnight results. I extended my feeding window a bit and what is not shown in the picture is about 750 additional calories (some that were a…

02/08 - 211.50 (OMAD Day 05) -2.90 lbs O/N *100 CALS* 0g C/10g F/0g P (42 HR FAST) Just an unbelievable O/N loss! I feel great that I was able to get my first full fast under my belt, I just never expected this kind of result. It was a little difficult later in the evening and I did not have my best night of sleep, but I…

02/07 - 214.40 (OMAD Day 04) -0.10 lbs O/N *1,210 CALS* 6g C/64g F/143g P (24 HR FAST) Looks like things have slowed down a bit meaning that it is time to "shake things up" with a 42 HOUR FAST. What that means simply is that I will skip my OMAD today at 1:00 PM and the next meal I will have will be at 8:00 AM on Friday.…

02/06 - 214.50 (OMAD Day 03) -1.90 lbs O/N *1,210 CALS* 6g C/64g F/143g P (24 HR FAST) Wow, a very nice O/N loss. I added a bit more calories so I could get my protein grams up but still a nice response. Adding the protein shake did not seem to cause any issues. Needless to say, I will continue with the same routine today…

02/05 - 216.40 (OMAD Day 02) -2.10 lbs O/N *1,050 CALS* 1g C/61g F/113g P (24 HR FAST) Not too bad for my 1st day of OMAD. Still very disappointed in my bounce up but at least I am heading back in the right direction again. The image shows I at a full (12) oz T-Bone Steak with 4 eggs cooked in a tbsp of bacon fat. What is…

02/04 - 218.50 (OMAD Day 01) Well, let's see if I can catch "lightning in a bottle" one more time. As you can see from my post-Super Bowl weigh in I deviated just a tad from my OMAD ways and got exactly what I had coming to me, the mother of all bounce ups. The good news is I have the 2-year-old history of this blog to…

*208.20* [-36.80 lbs] * 60 CALS * 40 HOUR FAST * Time to get back focused again! All in all not too much damage as I am still about 10 lbs from my low of last year. I have been intermittently fasting since April 17th which resulted in about a 5 lb loss. I'm back to my varied IF routine that includes a 42 hour fast followed…

Not according to the doctors I follow. Check out Dr. Shawn Baker and Dr. Ted Neiman as just a couple good examples. They and others are very active on Twitter and Instagram.

Round 11 in the books
-
I cut this round a little short at 24 Hours which means I weighed in after a feeding session which is never optimal (resulting in bigger bounce than normal) Wife cooked some salmon so ate that plus quite a bit more than usual including indulging in some carbs. On to the next round and back to 38 Hours ADF

ADF round 9 is now in the books. I’m going to break this fast with a bone In Ribeye and then follow it up with a couple of T-bones before kicking off ADF round 10 at 6:00P. So thankful for the great progress. #ADF #IntermittentFasting #ZeroCarb #carnivore

ADF round 8 is now history. I’m going to break this fast with a nice Ribeye and then follow it up with a couple of T-bones before kicking off ADF round 9 at 6:00P. So thankful for the great progress. #ADF #IntermittentFasting #ZeroCarb #carnivore

Yep, a Ribeye for beakfast, a T-Bone for lunch and another T-Bone for dinner. About 3,100 calories. Got some great deals around here on T-Bones $4.99 a pound so I stocked up.

Well I just look at it as eating “every other” day. I eat (3) steaks one day, finishing up around 6:00P and then fast for the next 38 hours (skipping food for a day) and then starting up again at 8:00A the day after. So really more like in 14 days I would have eaten on 7 of the days and fasted for the other 7 (ADF). On the…

I’m grateful for the discipline to…

I successfully completed my 3rd round with great success and I’m about to end the 38 hour fast with a nice sized T-Bone with melted…

ROUND #002 (New Year/Rose Bowl) ✅ 12/31 5:00P > 12:00A (07 HRS) ✅ 01/01 12:00A > 12:00A (24 HRS) ✅ 01/02 12:00A > 1:00P (13 HRS) TOTAL: 44 HOURS* 207.00 This round was a little more difficult to maneuver as I was dealing with New Years Eve plus a trip to the Rose Bowl. In the end I prevailed and due to red eye flights I…

ROUND #001 (2017 EOY Re-set/Re-sync) ✅ 12/29 9:00P > 12:00A (03 HRS) ✅ 12/30 12:00A > 12:00A (24 HRS) ✅ 12/31 12:00A > 1:00P (13 HRS) RESULT: 40 HOURS 210.60 I started my refocus on the last few days of 2017 in order to get a head start leading into the new year. I have modified my original OMAD plan to include a more…

I’m going to use this forum I started to re-focus my efforts in 2018. I managed to stay around my low plus 10 lbs so it has not been all doom and gloom since I stopped posting. I just feel I’m now ready to continue on my journey to reach the next leg down towards my goal weight of 175.00. I’m ready now to recommit to a…

(OMAD Day 005) *200.40* [-44.60 lbs] 44g Carbs 24 HOUR FAST *1,687 CALS* A nice continued loss and back down to pre-vacation weight. I am having breakfast today as my meal and then will be back to 1:00PM as my norm tomorrow and then after that. What is not pictured in the meal are the (2) Oatmega bars I had. Clearly…

(OMAD Day 004) *201.20* [-43.80 lbs] *1,608 CALS* 44g Carbs 24 HOUR FAST A little overnight loss and still moving back down closer to my pre-vacation weight. I will stick to the 24 hour OMAD plan today again until I completely stall out. I am still losing even though higher calorie intake but I don't expect that to…

(OMAD Day 003) *201.60* [-43.40 lbs] 88g Carbs * 1,880 CALS * 24 HOUR FAST * I weighed in much later than I usually do but still did not expect this big of a drop. I had a bit of a bug last night where I had the chills and a fever. What is really strange as that usually leads into the flu of some sort for me but this…

(OMAD Day 002) *204.20* [-40.80 lbs] 66g Carbs 24 HOUR FAST Nice to be back under and re-take the 205 bar. Next up the 200 bar and back into the 190's. With this nice overnight loss I will not change a thing. I will stick to the 24 hour fasts and include the Oatmega bars as part of the meal. I am still at 1,600+ calories…

(OMAD Day 001) *205.80* [-39.20 lbs] 66g Carbs 14 HOUR FAST It feels good to have stopped the bleeding and now working my way back down the ladder. Also nice to see the keto meter move from green as it had been for the past 4 days up to yellow. I ended up eating around 1,685 calories yesterday and I will gradually scale…
