I'm sorry, but "chubby" or not, if your doctor doesn't support your weight loss and you had over 100 pounds to lose, find a new doctor! Otherwise, I would say that 7 pounds in a week is fast, yes, but who knows what your body is doing? Is this after a month or so of plateau? I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues at…

You know, it's interesting...years ago, my sister went from 230 pounds to a healthy ~140 and throughout the journey, she became happier and more positive, but after she met her goal, she became very cynical and treated people who were nice to her as if they were only doing it because she had lost the weight. She made…

If you have lemon pepper seasoning, I like sprinkling that on mine and then cooking them in the George Foreman. Careful not to cook too long or it will get dry, but this is good to cut up and eat or put in a salad...

You're not lost. You just lost the game, too. Sorry :-/

I wish! I just started birth control a few weeks ago and I feel like I can't get enough to eat!

When I had my wisdom teeth out, I loved to heat a sweet potato in the microwave and eat it like a baked potato with just spray butter on it. SO good and not too high calorie-wise!

While shots are easier per drink on the calories, they don't last long and I've noticed that if I'm at a happy hour and don't constantly have something in my hand, I am given a hard time about it...so I get a lite beer or a glass of wine and slowly sip it to make it last. Otherwise, rum and diet or gin and tonic are good…

cookinglight.com and hungrygirl.com have recipes. Some are detailed and complex, but there are also some that are "20-minute meals" and "5 ingredient meals" on there, too.

I prefer the non-shorts, but the other two look the same from the front.

It seems like someone asks this question every day, so I'll copy and paste my response from yesterday...which I copied and pasted from a few weeks ago, too :) I was curious about this, too, so I played around with it and there is a less than 500 calorie difference for "calories burned from normal daily activity" for me…

Are you factoring in that you can eat the calories you exercise off? In fact, you're supposed to to give your body fuel. At 1,200 NET (meaning if you ate that plus what you exercised off) you're still at a deficit to lose and you're fueling your body to build the muscles from your exercising that will in turn boost your…

I was curious about this, too, so I played around with it and there is a less than 500 calorie difference for "calories burned from normal daily activity" for me (5'6 female) between if I put "sedentary" and "highly active" lifestyle. Furthermore, since I don't have SO much to lose, even though I put that I want to lose 2…

Good job! I've been having trouble breaking 170 even on the INACCURATE scale! Hope we both start to see better movement soon!

What this person said except I'd take it even a step further and say that the bossy or rude "dominant" person probably does so actually out of a LACK of confidence (insecurity) or a need to prove themselves.

Also, any stories about how birth control has affected future pregnancy would be great, too. Thanks!

Ha! I just posted this response to someone with a very similar question: I was curious about this, too, so I played around with it and there is a less than 500 calorie difference for "calories burned from normal daily activity" for me (5'6 female) between if I put "sedentary" and "highly active" lifestyle. Furthermore,…

How much time are you supposed to give your muscles to recoup? I had been trying to maintain doing 50 pushups (in intervals of 10 of them 5 times per day) and 50 situps (2 sets of 25 throughout the day...maybe the whimpy way to do it, but you have to start somewhere!) for a couple of weeks and then I got to feeling like I…

Sorry, dude. I'm one of those few-but-unfortunate woman who have the same problem (although it's not from beer. It's been there since before I ever had a sip of alcohol :( )
-
I don't, but if you have a smartphone...there's an app for that! ;)
-
I thought the carbonation wasn't supposed to be good for your muscles if you're working out...
-
I would subtract the extra 100 as you would be burning that, anyway and it IS part of maintenance.
-
That doesn't quite make 100%...
-
Yeah, it can be frustrating on both fronts. My boyfriend and I both had lost some weight shortly before meeting, and that was an awesome commonality we had when we met. We both have more we want to lose (I have about 25 before I'm no longer "overweight" and he wants to lose 30, but will still be a good 10 pounds into the…

Your muscles may be retaining water if they're sore, but try upping your water intake today to help "flush them out". I've heard that they only hold onto water for fear of not getting more, but if you give them plenty, they should let at least some of it go...
-
Bump!
-
It sounds bizzarre to eat more to lose, I know, but I've heard you have to up your calories SLIGHTLY once you're nearing maintenance. I know it might be scary depending on how long you've been at this and how much success you've had, but why don't you try increasing your calories (to increase your metabolism) to like 1,500…

A kids' meal with a jr. cheeseburger and a diet soda is less than 600 calories. If this craving is going to make you overeat to try to fill it, go ahead and fill it with this semi-high calorie alternative and work out more or eat less for dinner to stay within your calories.

Bump! I have some cauliflower about to go bad in my refrigerator as we speak!

A whole small pepperoni pizza from dominos is only just over 1,200 calories...everyone I'm sure will attack me for saying that, but if that's REALLY ALL you ate each day...you could do it. If you exercised, you might also be able to have a small dessert ;)
