  • It is really annoying though that they don't put that on the box considering I don't know anyone who eats dry pasta lol!
  • I also live in an upstairs apartment- I do Zumba on the Wii and I DVR some fitness shows on TV. Hope you find something helpful!
  • Treadmill is super boring for me...and I don't like running on it as it kills my knees! If I'm going to be walking or running I go over my lunch break outside. It's both my cardio fit into a good part of my day, and a way to get some fresh air so I'm not so tired around 3pm. At the gym I prefer the ellptical for the amount…
  • I love Zumba! The class I attend regularly has a lady who is almost 80 yrs old in it, and she does great keeping up to the best of her ability. She is inspiring to me and motivates me to keep moving and give it my all! I recently just started going about 6 wks ago, and I'm addicted! I love all the different types of music…
  • I had a day much like yours yesterday. I just took some time alone with my big bottle of water, and had some time to emotionally refocus myself. I can honestly say that I have a lot of inspirations but my biggest is to honor the memory of my sister who died a little over a year ago very suddenly and unexpected at the age…
  • Some yummy ideas here! Think we might be having baked potatoes on the menu this week!!
  • Thanks! Definitely printing this out and hanging on my fridge!!
  • Thanks for sharing! and Keep up the good work! You look great!
  • That's so wonderful! I have a whole wardrobe of summer clothes that was given to me that I can't wait to get into! I would love to try on a bikini for the first time this year! We'll see how daring I get!

  • It is very hard to balance out the time thing. My husband has always worked opposite shifts than me since before we were married. Now that we have a toddler who is very active, there are many times that I'm tired after work too. But the important thing is to remember to eat right and drink plenty of water. I have found…
  • There are so many times I think I let the little things go unnoticed. But one thing that relieved a lot stress on me this past week was my husband cleaning the house while I was going to a movie with friends from work. I was super stressed this week, and he helped to alleviate that. Did he do it the way I would have?…
  • I started January 2nd. I've lost 16 lbs and I think several inches. I have almost moved down a full pant size. I'm still about 50lbs to go; but slow and steady wins the race! I feel better and better each week!
  • www.crockingirls.com has some great recipes for any type of meal! They do a video demo every monday of a new dish and post shopping lists ahead of time for this. Very useful website!
  • Thank you for being so open and honest to yourself! That takes a lot of guts! I think for me my biggest struggle was portion size and moderation of bad things. I can say that honestly I look at life and what goes in my mouth a lot differently since starting MFP; and it has worked! Although I'm still working towards my…
  • That is incredible to show how judgemental people can be. But maybe your comments in response to here snide comments made her realize she needs to make a change! I would have done way worse if it were me in your place, but great job taking a stand for yourself! Your weight loss is inspiring and keep up the great work!
  • I've never really kept track of my distance.... I will try for 60 miles this month including: walking, elliptical, treadmill, biking.
  • Running with cat.........only way to make a successful outcome is: A: Have them chase something they like- i.e. laser or bunny... or B. Leash them put on your sweat pants and use a spray bottle!! lol Either way........kinda hilarious! :glasses:
  • You could also try the elliptical... it has very minimal impact on the knees, you can do intervals on it, and it burns way more calories! I was very afraid of the elliptical about 2 months ago, but now it's like my best friend! Hope you find something that works for you! And just keep pushing through!
  • I put in the crock pot last night- Hungry Girls Cheeseburger Mac Attack! It looks and smells delicious and under 200 calories a serving! The nutritional info is already on here, and the recipe on the Hungry Girl's Website!
  • I actually just found this out this week. Not sure what my levels are actually at but I was placed on the weekly 50000 unit. Before this I had a lot of joint pain, and I feel increasingly better and my mood is also much better. Been trying to drink more milk, get more sunlight.....I am feeling much better, and hope that…

  • I am also a Pinterest addict!! I suck new people in everyday! I enjoy all the wonderful ideas that you get for your kids, and I am a teacher as well have also found some great ways to reuse many things around the house!
  • 1. A gym Membership 2. Food Scale 3. Good reusable water bottle (even though it doesn't fit in the cup holders at the gym, it has a freezer core and helps me measure how much water I'm drinking!)
  • I had one 4 oz portion of boneless skinless grilled chicken and a small side of spaghetti with red sauce and a big salad with just a little Romano Basil Vinegarette.......I was watching the BIggest Loser the other night and a great suggestion came on about pasta; Have a lean protein as your main dish and eat pasta as a…
