  • I recently started to watch it, hopefully I will get to watch some more tonight. I have been talking to my husband about it, I think that we still need to eat meat (lean) but not near in the quantities they we are eating now. It just floored me when the made the connection between casein, cancer and America. Totally blows…
  • Yes, LOTS of water makes a huge difference. I drink between 8 and 10 glasses a day
  • I am very regular, after my first cup of coffee every morning. You should be going atleast once a day. You may want to try some Miralax, it is NOT a laxative. My daughter has a bowel deformation and has to take it. The gastrointerologist says that it is safe to take everyday and your body will not become dependant on it.
  • welcome to back to MFP!! You can do this!
  • I didn`t realize that you had to have a monthly subscription for body bugg, that`s no good. I will check out Polar and see what they have to offer in the future.
  • I LOVE my chiro. Especially new to working out, my back would hurt so bad due to muscles tightening. After I get adjusted I have instant relief. I would be in a lot of pain without going to one.
  • I bought a sigma onyx. It cost me about $60. I want a body bugg, but my husband wants to see me stick to a healthier lifestyle for 6 months before he invests $150+ dollars in it.
  • Congratulations! YOU did it!!
  • There is a ton of items to choose from. Try sugar free jello (where the pudding is), I like the cherry flavor, it`s cheap and only has 10 calories and no sugar; some celery sticks in a ziploc bag with a wedge of laughing cow cheese, pop some light popcorn with low sodium and portion it out in ziploc bags. These are my…
  • I previously lost almost 40 lbs on the south beach diet. It is cutting out sugar (only for the first 2 weeks) and then trying to eat low carb foods. You do it in stages so that it teaches you how to eat healthier week by week. The first 3 days I lost 5 lbs just from those details I listed above. Hope this helps
  • I am in too! My current weight is 160, so 5% of that is 8lbs. I will give it everything I have!

  • I agree that drinking water and watching sodium intake is the key. I don`t know about other ladies, but have ya`ll noticed lighter menstruation? I know this may be TMI, but they use to be REALLY heavy, but since I started working out and drinking water, I only had two heavy days and the rest were very light. Let me know…

  • I have my weigh in first thing on Sunday morning, which really helps me focus during the weekend. Also, Sunday is our busy day with church, housecleaning etc which keeps me from being idle. I don`t keep junk food in the house, that REALLY helps. Then again, if you know you are going to be out for a long time, pack a some…
  • This site is fantastic! I am motivated everytime I log in and before I decide to put something supersaturated in my mouth, I KNOW that I will have to log it. So I think twice all the time about what I am eating and how I want my log to reflect about me. Not to say that I don`t have my weak moments, cause trust me, I do.…
  • Glad to have you back!! I have only been on here about a week and am very new to this but I felt the same way. Sick and tired of just being tired!! We can do this!!
  • To mizzladylisa - I love baked fish, but it can come out really try. Try to wrap in up in foil first, keeps all the moisture inside and makes it come out soooo juicy. I do it with all kinds of fish. I am not sure what kind of new fruit of veggie that I am going to try today, I will post after I get back from the market…

I currently weigh 166 and would like to get down to 145-150 which is appropriate for my height. I lost almost 40 pounds two years ago, then got married and…
