Elbows too pointy

I use it lightly. I thought it was going to be awesome, so I ordered 3 bags of it. Didn't know it was going to have that nasty aftertaste. I like splenda much better. Just because Stevia is natural doesn't mean it is safer than splenda. There are many plants that are fatal if consumed by humans.

I don't have any needy friends in real life, nor do I have them on mfp. I don't comment all the time, and it doesn't bother me if no one comments on my updates either.

I hated it. No squats or deadlifts. No dumbbells over 80lbs. Crowded. I like my garage better.

Chopin, if you like piano. Nocture Op.9 No.2 is probably his most recognizeable.

For a long time, I weighed myself every day. My thinking is that if the numbers are important to you, you need to check them daily since your weight can fluctuate a couple of pounds (or more) just from hydration levels, digestive tract contents, etc. If you weigh yourself every monday, yet last monday you were dehydrated…

Talking to your spouse about weight does not make you "an insensitive jerk" or mean you are calling them a "fatass". My wife and I have open discussion about our weight. We are a team. We are both working together to achieve our goals, and honest feedback is welcomed. I always lol when women talk about witholding sex. Good…

Hey guise, if you don't eat every 2-3 hrs, your body will go into starvation mode.

It depends on the type of injury. I had a small tear in my meniscus that would kill me after doing cardio (not so much during), whether it be running, swimming, elliptical. Sometimes I could hardly walk the next day. Low volume heavy lifting didn't bother it much, though.

"Unholy Confession" by Avenged Sevenfold. That guitar riff... brb lifting heavy *kitten*

Just say "u 'mirin?" or if they're making you uncomfortable, say "did you lose something over here?"

If they started charging, I'd go back to my marker board on the fridge.

I can tell my wife when she's looking bloated (ex: after a couple of weeks on vacation), and she can do the same for me. It's nice to have another honest perspective. When my wife says that I'm looking fluffy, I know it wasn't just my imagination that my lower abdomen fat seems to be poking out a bit. Time to get back on…

Are you logging all of your intake to ensure you are in a calorie deficit? Weighing and measuring portions? Your weight on the scale doesn't tell the whole story. It can vary a lot depending on hydration levels, digestive tract contents, and other factors. I recently went almost three weeks without losing a lb, then…

Sounds good. I did low carb for a few months, keeping my carbs below 30g not counting the fiber. Worked well.

I stopped eating breakfast some time ago. It's much easier for me to just have a cup of coffee in the morning to keep me from getting hungry, then eat large portions for lunch and dinner. It makes cutting much easier, and even when I'm eating in a calorie surplus, I still feel lean after a 16hr fasted period. Ultimately,…

I've used mfp for losing, maintaining, and gaining weight. I don't plan to ever stop tracking my calories and macronutrients.

My wife has hypo and takes levothyroxine. Her tsh was off the chart (>100). She has went from 166lbs to 119lbs in the last year and a half, but not without a lot of hard work and dedication.

I can't believe some of the responses in this thread.

- Endomorphs (people who gain weight easily) are typically more carb sensitive, and may benefit from restricting carbs - Fats can be more filling and satisfying than carbs - I have continued to increase strength on a low carb diet, as long as I refeed every 7-10 days But it's not sustainable, not a lifestyle change, blah…

Starting strength is a great book and a great program, but unless you are an athlete and have access to a coach, you may not want to learn the power clean. I strained my neck and was out for four months doing power cleans, and still have problems with it on occassion. It is a very challenging lift to learn on your own. I…

Imagine this. You are attracted to women, like you are now (emotionally and sexually), but they do not exist. They existed a long time ago, and no one knows what they looked like (They have a pretty good idea from the fossils, however), but they do not exist anymore. That means, not only do you know there will never be any…

6ft, 176lbs. 1500cal/day Monday-Friday (low carb) 2000cal/day Sat-Sun (high carb) No cardio (bad knee) Weightlifting 3 x week

Unholy Confessions, Natural Born Killer, and Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold come up often during my training.

Dietary fat =/= body fat. One can eat a high fat diet, and lose weight as long as they are in a calorie deficit. Anything you don't burn can be converted into fat, even protein.
-
Heavy squats and deadlifts. If you're spending more than 5 minutes on ab or core exercises, your wasting your time.
-
Squats and deadlifts, and a low body fat %. I've never seen a guy or girl that could squat and deadlift heavy that didn't have a ripped midsection, unless they were carrying around extra fat.

I rarely talk about diet or training to anyone other than my wife or a close friend, because so many people think they are experts, yet they have nothing to show for it. But don't assume that since others are thin that they've always been that way. Others have made comments about me that I don't have to worry about my…
